Elmo stared saladly at shrek and y/n, watching as they danced in the moonlight. Elmo, being the stalker he was, had followed them from their home, wearing sunglasses to cover his weirdly wide open eyes. A trench coat covered his fluffy red fur, bright orange nose barely peeking out from the bush he was hiding behind.

y/n was dancing with shrek, wearing a flowy teal dress that shimmered under the stars. Shrek wore a suit and tie, his green skin glinting beautifully in the light. As they waltzed in the walmart parking lot, they didn't notice a red being watching them from afar. The parking lot was empty, no cars, just street lamps. They waltzed for hours, not growing tired. Just like how they were never tired of their love for each other. Drop drop, a few raindrops fell from the dark purple sky. Then more raindrops fell after, and it was showering. Y/n and shrek then stopped their waltzing, and ran away to the forest. Right where elmo was watching them.

y/n and shrek stumbled to a stop as they heard the bushes rustling. They were met with the familiar sight of their old friend elmo, tears soaking his matted red fur. He ripped off the coat and glasses, sadly glaring at his friends.

"E-elmo...?" y/n's soft voice was like music to elmo's ears.

"y/n...shrek..." elmo sniffled, recalling the sight of them dancing moments ago. "I'm so sorry..."

Shrek's gentle yet firm voice brought elmo's gaze up to him.

"Elmo, whats wrong?" y/n was starting to understand, slowly, as they noticed how loving elmo's gaze was. they'd recognized that own gaze in her own eyes.

"I...i...i love you!" elmo burst out. "Both of you!"

y/n nervously let her hand slip from shrek's knowing that they loved him back. they loved them both, shrek and elmo...but this wouldnt work unless shrek felt the same.

Shrek bit his lip very seggsily.

"I...i also love both of you..." he gulped, hoping that neither of them would reject him, but y/n seemed happy and so did elmo.

"So we all love each other!!1!1!1!" they gasped happily, and shrek and elmo smiled back at them.

They all held hands, shiny green skin on y/n's (skin color) skin and elmo's red furry...fur??

It was a magical moment. The moonlight filtered through the leaves above their heads, illuminating y/n's hair, shrek's glistening skin, and elmo's fur, sparkling with tears.

Elmo happily leaned in and kissed Shrek on the lips, immediately moving to y/n as well.

The two of them made out because elmo is so seggsy (ELMO IS 20 YEARS OLD NOT THREE NOT THREE NOT THREE).

Shrek was awkwardly standing there so then elmo and shrek made out because elmo is 20 and gave consent and we stan consent and being legally of the age to give consent.

y/n was perfectly happy to stand and watch the people they loved make out because they are a queen and had no jealousy problems.

It seemed like all would end well.

But, a week later, everything went wrong :(
