FOR THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I AM SO, SO SORRY.
My brain pitched me the ending and I immediately knew it had to be done. I just finished writing it and I am bawling my eyes out. I haven't cried over an ending like this since I wrote Temperature.
I am so pleasantly surprised how popular this book has gotten! I begun writing it without any plan just to explore a possible relationship between these two. But then, when I took a break because of lack of inspiration, people started asking for more. Thank you so much for that! It forced me to explore the book once more, and with that, I fell in love with it. It was challenging, as it always is when bringing in war and politics into a story. I hope I did your expectations justice!
