Chapter 7 - Wondering Wondering Wondering
It was now Friday and to say Harry was happy to spend the rest of the day with Louis would've been an understatement, he was beaming with excitement and a little bit of nervousness. Harry felt like he was floating on clouds when he was with Louis; on top of the world.
While smiling to himself and feeling the enormous swarm of butterflies in his stomach, he went to his closet and picked out an outfit.
He laid out a button up with pink feathers and a black background, and set them on his bed. Along with his regular black skinnies and Chelsea boots.
Harry's style was the opposite of his personality. His style was confident, bold, colorful, and vibrant. Yet, his personality, as he described it, was boring, bland, shy, closed off, and just a reserved, dull green eyed boy.
Louis saw him the exact opposite. To him, everything about Harry was perfect. His chocolate long hair, bright green eyes, rosy red lips, blushing cheeks, his sharp as glass jawline, his unique and beautiful style, his kind personality. Everything about him was just simply, perfect to Louis. He couldn't find a single flaw.
When Harry finally got to Louis' house, instead of Louis answering the door this time, it was a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes and looking a little younger than Louis.
"Louis, Harry's here!"
Harry was shocked, how did she know who I was? Had Louis told her about me? Why would Louis tell her about me?
He heard the soft pitter-patter in the house until Louis appeared by the door next to the blonde girl.
"Well don't just stand there, come in." Louis said.
Harry walked inside awkwardly and Louis decided to break the silence by introducing each other.
"Harry, this is Lottie, my sister. And Lottie, this is Harry, my...friend." Louis answered shortly, although it sounded like he was questioning it.
Was I not friends with Louis? Did he not want to be friends with me? Why did he say 'friends' like that?
After that awkward interaction, Harry and Louis walked up the steps that shortly led to Louis' room. Harry felt cozy in Louis' room. He felt at home. He felt at home with Louis.
They practiced learning sign language on a random app they downloaded from the App Store on Harry's phone.
By the time they were finished they learned a couple hand gestures and the meanings of them. Harry was beginning to use them already. It was now dark and Harry had to leave or else his mum would begin to worry.
He sighed disappointedly, he was having so much fun with Louis and enjoying their time spent together. He wondered if Louis had felt the same way he had. If every touch, glance, smile, and cuddle sending butterflies through his stomach, just like Harry.
As he stared at the ceiling, back at home, lying in his bed, he just kept wondering and wondering and wondering.
Was I just a friend?
It was the next day, Saturday, and Harry had planned to stay inside the whole day. So when he woke up, he went back to bed and then woke up again. He groaned and checked the time on his clock.
12:43
Harry got out of bed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. His mum and Gemma were still sleeping so he just decided to get a bowl of Apple Jacks with milk.
After, he went back upstairs and went on his phone. While on his phone, he saw a notification on the top of the screen and tapped it.
From Lexi: Hey Harry, wanna hang out together. You can bring some of your friends if you want.
