The voices (ch 2)

                    ~current time midnight~
Kai's cleaning the deck.
???:hey.
Kai jumps at the sudden sound and turns around swiftly.
Cole: it's cold ya know. I know your power heats up your body but it's -2 degrees
Kai: I-I'm fine just cleaning alittle before monday's practice.
Cole looks at him.
In a soft tone Cole:bud it's Friday
Kai: correction Saturday
Cole: not the point. The point is why aren't you sleeping
Kai: Cole it was one night...
Cole in a harsh tone: Kai I know more than well you have not been sleeping
Kai in a mean tone: you have little to 0 proof and intill you present this proof I'll rest my case
Cole: you have dark spots under your eyes
Kai: 1 how do you know I'm not just doing it for attention 2 it might just be lack of GOOD sleep
Cole: well your up right now
Kai: that's one night
Cole: but you didn't go to sleep yesterday either
Kai: I just said I was up getting coffee not how early I got up
Cole: Kai we all know your the last to get up. Not to mention you passed out later that day
Kai:goodnight Cole
*kai walks away*
Cole follows him
Kai: I know your following me
Cole: y-you know you can always chill with me
Kai slightly blushing: I'll take that into consideration
For they had feelings for each other for awhile but refused to admit it
                    ~the next morning~
Zane: Kai Cole get up breakfast!
The kind nindroid called from the kitchen
Zane was quite tall he was 6'2 and thin but buff at the same time. He had platinum blonde hair with pale blue eyes his hair was brushed back but bounced up slightly
Nya ran into the dining room tiredly
Nya had long jet black hair in a bun on her head Nya was quite punctual but was staying up late do to making weapons and fixing the ninjas vehicles and mecs she was up much of the time
Kai walked into the kitchen humming
Zane: someone looks well rested
Kai: I got alittle more sleep last night
Zane: oh that's good to hear! Also Nya would you like some help with the vehicles?
Nya looked up from the wall
Nya: yes please!
Jay: Hey I can help!
Nya: ok the more help the better
Kai ,Cole ,and Lloyd just stared at the tech smart members of the team dumbfounded as Nya explained what had to be done
Cole looked at the other 2
Cole: if you guys have nothing to do we could go to ninjago city and patrol
Lloyd was dragged to the side by Nya and Jay who had a plan to get Cole and Kai together
Nya whispering: say you have to go meditate with master wu
Lloyd whispering as well: why?
Jay: BECAUSE THEY LIKE EACH OTHER AND DONT KNOW IT AND IT BOTHERS ME
Nya looked at him as if she was going to kill him
Jay and Nya were quite an exciting couple.theyd do anything for each other
Jay also whispering: anyway the point is mission Kole is ago!
Nya: Kole?(key-ole)
Jay:Cai? (Coe-eye) anyway we will work on the ship name later for right now our mission is getting them together
Lloyd goes back to the 2
Cole: Lloyd where did you go? We are gonna go see a movie wanna come?
Lloyd looks over to see Nya and Jay giving him a thumbs up
Lloyd: eh sorry guys I have to g-go meditate!
Kai and Cole looked at each other and shrugged
Kai: ok. I didn't know you meditated alone tho?
Lloyd: y-yea haha I've just started trying it sensi said I should try doing it alone
Forgetting sensi had gone to a trip to collect some extra tea
Cole: Ok we will see ya later dude!
Lloyd: ok bye guys!
Lloyd walks back over to the 2 lover clearly satisfied by there work
Lloyd:so now what?
Nya: now we wait...
Jay: they went to watch a horror movie, and as much as Kai doesn't like to admit it they scare him and he will huddle to the closest person
Nya:*cough*cough* Cole
Lloyd: how do we know this will work
Nya: ...we don't
Lloyd:*sigh*
~ at the movies~
It's the middle of the movie a jump scare is coming up...BAM!
Kai jumps in fear
Cole: are you ok?
Kai:yea I'm good just alittle jump that's all
Then something brought back some of Kais ptsd(which all of them had to some extent Kais was from Chen's island) he grabbed on to Coles arm
Cole rubs his head(Kai's)not knowing this was in the movie
He blushed slightly as the smaller but strong male hugs him
Kai pulls back blushing
They finish the movie
Cole: look I'm sorry I didn't realize that was in the movie
Kai: it's fine I'll be ok
Cole hugs the little ball of fear and look his eyes
Kai had reddish hazel eyes with brown spiky hair and light freckles possibly covered by makeup and was quite short he was 4,12
Cole however was almost as tall as Zane he was a centimeter above 6'1 had black hair with faint streaks of brown and chocolate brown eyes that where almost black
They look at each other and look away
Kai: so...where to now?
Cole: hmm?
Kai: where do you wanna go? There probably still busy
Cole: yea that's fair... I don't really have anywhere
Kai: there's a place I like to go just to chill
Cole: can we go?
Kai: sure!
After a short drive
Cole: the beach? I thought you hate water.It's also quite crowded.
Kai: not the place we are going
They walk past the crowd of people hiding their faces they come across a rocky place
Cole: this is really rocky
Kai: follow me
Cole and Kai walk to a place with a flat rock
Cole: this-this is an amazing view!
Kai: it's pretty secluded due to the rocks surrounding. Often times dolphins jump out of the water.
Cole and Kai look at the water as they see fins swimming to them
Kai gets closer to the shore as he walk in the water
Cole: I thought you cant swim!
Kai: I can't I'm not going that deep
Cole looks in wonder and blushes as he sees the cocky over protective brother figure smile and play with the small dolphins
Cole gets in slowly showing the dolphins he means no harm he and Kai spend the rest of the day playing with the dolphins
The sun is now going down as they sit on shore and watch it drenched
Kai: that was fun
Cole: it was. Is this why you come home wet all the time
Kai: yea pretty much
Kai let's put a small yawn as he lays back onto the rock
Cole picks he's head up and lays it on his lap so Kais more confertable. Kai falls asleep as Cole hums to him
Cole picks him up and grabs the extra towels that he keeps in the back of the car and wraps Kai in one
~now back home~
Cole:we're back
Nya: you guys were gone awhile...your soaked
Cole: yea it started raining
Cole says with a chuckle after
Nya lifts up the water of the two
Cole:...h-how do I put him to bed!?
Kai being on the top bunk is a problem for Cole
Nya: figure it out
Cole: d-do you think he'd mind sleeping in my bed with me...
Jay: I dunno he'd probably be flustered but he'd get over it
Cole : ok
-after Cole left-
Zane: I don't understand? Where did they go then it didn't rain today?
Nya: it didn't?
Jay:?
Lloyd: anyways let's head to bed.
-they all went to bed-
Kai started stirring in his sleep
Cole wakes up
Cole lightly hugs him: shhh it's ok your safe
Kai gets closer and returns the hug slightly making him comfy

Kai wakes up a little: C-Cole? Why am I in your bed?
Cole: you fell asleep and I didn't know how to get you to your bed
Kai: ok
Cole: ya wanna just stay here and sleep
Kai gives a slight nod
Cole hugs Kai tight while Kai is cuddled to his chest
Jay takes a quick silent video and then goes back to sleep
-the next morning-
Zane: good morning you guys
Kai: morning Zane!
Nya: morning!
Jay pulls Nya aside showing her the video
Nya let's put an exciting gasp
Jay being both Cole and Kais best friend convinces Cole to confess his feelings for Kai even tho Cole hated it
Cole walks on to the deck to see Kai sweeping off the bird droppings
Cole: hey Kai
Kai let's out a small gasp: h-hey Cole
Kai is startled by the sudden feeling of a arm around his waist that turns him around
Kai blushes as he looks deep in the dark brown eyes of  Cole
Cole grabs Kais neck and kisses him
Kai startled by the sudden soft lips touching his own but proceeds to return the kiss with his arms around Coles neck
Cole releases as he looks at now dark red Kai
Cole:soo are we a thing now?
Kai giggles making Cole blush: i guess we are
