Intro/Chapter 1

This is a Meruem x reader story. A story to which a stubborn girl is held hostage by the king. The king feels a desire to protect her at all cost, no matter what. But why? Unlike the king the girl is not a big fan of the king and not an easy one to fall for people~

Y/n'sPOV
I squinted my eyes as I opened them to a bright light. Where am I? As my eyes fully adjust to the light I have a clear view of a small room with a bed, which I am sitting on and a door not to far from the bed. As I'm observing the room the same question came back to mind. Where am I? Then all of a sudden I remembered a cat like animal knocking me to the floor and picking me up and bring me somewhere, then I blacked out.

I get up and try to open the door but it's locked. I then start banging on the door but it was no use, it just wouldn't budge. I then sat on the bed thinking of a way to get out of here. I quickly snap my head to the door when I hear the sound of footsteps coming to the door.

"IS SOMEONE THERE, PLEASE HELP ME!!" I shout. The door then opens to reveal the same cat animal. "Who are you? Where am I?" I say.

"I am Neferpitou" The cat animal says then stops for a second, it looks like it is thinking. "Okay come with me" Neferpitou says.(Since Pitous gender is unknown, in this story Pitou will be referred to as a girl).

Shaiapouf's POV
As I am sitting in the throne room with the king Pitou then communicates to me through my mind saying "Please inform the king that the girl is awake". I then respond with "Okay".

"Your majesty, Pitou has informed me that the girl is awake" I say kneeling to the king. "Tell Pitou to Bring her to me" the king says. "Of course your majesty" I say, then responds to Pitou. "The king wants you to bring the girl to him" I say through my mind to Pitou. "Okay" she responds with.

Y/n's POV
As Neferpitou is taking me out the room I could help but ask, "Um excuse me, where are we going?" I say "To the king" she responds with simply. "King?" I say. Pitou then doesn't responds and keeps walking. As we're walking I look around to see we're in this huge mansion that I have never seen before.

"Look I don't know who you are "Neferpitou" but I'm not going to your "king" unless you tell me where I am" I say in a aggressive tone. Pitou still doesn't respond. I then try to get out of her grip but her hand tightens on my arm.

We eventually come to a halt in front of two big white doors. Pitou then opens the doors to reveal an green animal sitting down on the floor with one leg up, and one arm resting on the leg that is up. I also see another animal sitting down in a chair reading a book not paying attention to my presence.

Pitou then brings me in front of the green animal and says "sit". "Im okay" I respond with. The green animal then lifts his head to look at me revealing his pinkish purple eyes. Then all of a sudden a tail with a sharp needle almost comes in contact with my neck.

"Sit" the greenish animal says with his tail still pointing to my neck. I slowly sit down with an angry expression on my face. "Who are you and why am I here" I respond with not really caring about the tail that's close to my neck.

"Because I wanted you here" the green animal responds with simply. "That still doesn't explain why I'm here and like I said, who are you?" I say harshly. "I am the king" the "king" respond with. "Well "king" what you are and those other animals" I say. "We are chimera ants and I am the king of them" the king says.

"What is a chimera ant" I say "Us" he responds with, causing me to blow a fuse. "I KNOW YOUR A CHIMERA AND YOU JUST TOLD ME THAT, IM ASKING WHERE DID YOU COME FROM AND WHY HAVENT I EVER SEEN YOU BEFORE!!" I say yelling.

"How dare you raise your voice at the king" the animal with butterfly antennas says. "And who are you" I say. "I am Shaiapouf, one of the three royal guard for the king" Shaiapouf says. "Well Shaiapouf I don't care about you nor your "King" so could you get straight to the reason I'm here so I can get out of here" I say.

"Your clueless" the king says "excuse me" I say "Us chimera ants have killed most of your kind, except you" the king says "WHAT!!" I say. I have never heard anything about a chimera ant on my life and I remember the last thing I heard before being knocked out we're screams.
