       ~1st Person~
    Our mission was stationed outside of the village in a remote area so if the nine tails did get released it would be far from the civilization. Frantically reducing the amount of possible damage and casualties. Minato himself was going to be there to make sure the nine tails seal wouldn't waver. Minato trusted my genjutsu enough for me to disguise the outside of the location.

We prepped for our mission at sunset, before heading out. I lingered at the barracks for a few minutes after the squad team had left.

Eyeing my own worried reflection I slapped my palms against my cheeks. "You got this! Everything's gonna be okay." I reminded myself as I readjusted the goggles resting over my collarbones, tucking them down into the cloth of my tall collar. Swiftly I grasped at my white mask and locked it over my nose. The detail of the mask always gave me a bounce in my step, it was different from that of Kakashi and Itachis. Their masks resembled that of a fox or a bear while mine was in a different category completely. We don't get to chose our masks but man was I glad I got this one.

It's mold formed a pointed beak over the mouth while the eyes were angled and accented with red paint. Itachi was always jealous of mine seeing as how his whole aesthetic was crows and such. I always poked a bit of fun at him at the barracks it was great seeing those little lines under his eyes grow bigger under my teases. Nonetheless I waved away my memories and set out.

Kushina was already going into labor by then. The screams of a mother in pain are heart shattering especially Kushina's hers were deafening. I could've sworn my ears were bleeding at some point.

Before entering the room I stuck chakra infused kunai all around the area placing a genjutsu like illusion over all of them to conceal the kunai themselves in order to further avoid detection. With the rush and ecstatic flow of chakra I used the kunai to cast my sensory genjutsu all around the vicinity.

The more time passed the closer Kushina was close to giving birth, her cries and screams of pain never ceasing neither were Minatos efforts to keep the seal on Kushina stomach intact. The whole process of birth was stressful at some points I'd look away just from hearing her screams let alone the blood coming from her womb. A nauseous feeling fell over my as I tried desperately not to think of the blood.

Still through my own suffering I stood guarding the door and watched the whole process. So far my genjutsu didn't detect anyone releasing the jutsu which was good but yet something strange happened. I sensed someone seemingly go through it not activating it but disturbing the chakra that flowed through the air to create the illusion. I activated my sharingan as I motioned to the other Anbu assigned to the door with me to keep watch while I check outside.

    I informed Minato as I quickly sprinted to the outside. Upon stepping out all the Anbu guards standing watch outside the entrance had disappeared. The only way here was by a bridge that ran along to the side of a ravine. My crimson eyes scanned the area for any trace of familiar chakra and found that there lead a trail from the entrance and straight forwards, seemingly off the bridge.

    I stepped over to the railing of the bridge as I threw my hands onto the cold metal railing, half my upper body loomed over the guard as as my eyes desperately searched the water below. To my horror blood was spilled all over the place and bodies laid lifeless within the water their chakra signatures completely disrupted and fading, they were dead.

A single figure down below stood above one of the Anbu bodies, they bore a black cloak and from what I could see had anbu chakra covered all over then. Whoever that was down there just took out a squad of anbu guards without anyone knowing. Sweat formed on my temple as the severity of what I was seeing finally kicked in, a part of me wanted to go down there and take that guy out myself but I knew I had to inform Minato first.
