"Cut Loose"

Chapter 2 *Getting in place*

On that morning after 30 minutes of staying in bed thinking about stuff, I got dressed to make my way to the G-Slam Lake. I put on my black tights, oversized red sweater and threw my hair into a loose high bun.
When I came downstairs I seen my parents getting a little to playful so I interrupted.

"I'm finna go mama."

She turned around cheesing back at me "oh foreal? Where?

"G-Slam. I won't be too long ma."

"Ok baby don't be cause I got some plans for us later on today before you go to school in the morning."

"Yes ma'am." Then I headed to the BmW.

When I arrived at the G-Slam Lake my whole mood changed. Travis always used to take me here after school, and we had the best moments here.

"So Dee Baby you know I love you right ?" Travis said starting the conversation as always.

Boy how many times you gone tell me this ? Every second?" I questioned.

"No until I really get you to understand how much I do."he replied.

"You see" he continued.
"When I first layed my eyes on you all I wanted to do was Fuck. Imean who wouldn't, look at you. Once I got to know you though guh... I had to make you mine. Straight up."

"Oh yeah?" I asked

"Hell yeah." He replied
"Imean I done been out with so many girls you know, I'm to sexy to not be." He smiled looking at me to see my reaction when he said that.

I turned to him letting one of my eyebrows move with a smirk,
"Keep going." I laughed.

"And I just don't want to be the player type to you baby. "
Travis stepped in front of me to stop me from walking then he continued to speak again.

"That's what everybody knew me as. I'm even suprised that you said yes. By now a girl would have said no to me because they think I'm going to break up with them. But you, you didn't do that, you stuck with me, and that's why I love you girl."

I grabbed his face close to mine and kissed him. I felt his hands go on my hips, and slid down to my butt which made me stop.
Travis laughed with his crystal white teeth.

"Boy you so crazy." I laughed.

"But I pulled you though." He would say back.

He hugged me. His jacket feeling very warm against me in the chill.

"I love you Dee baby." he said.

"I love you more Tray Bae." I replied in a softer voice.
Then we continued walking.
(Present)
I looked down and smiled. I remember that entire day we hang out. It was perfect.
All of a sudden I heard someone calling my name from a distance. I looked around to see it was Kay Kay.

"Omg hey girl!" I yelled.
She ran and hugged me for so long. I smiled the fact that she brightened my day.

"Omg I missed you so much!" She cried. "I been trying to get in contact with you for the longest. Are you ok chick?"

"Yeah girl I'm fine."

"Girl we missed him so much!" She continued.

"Yeah." I said looking down.

"What happ-"

Look Kay Kay I interrupted. I can't talk about Travis right now, it's too much on my mind.

"Ok baby girl let's walk around the lake."

"So girl, we need to catch up..." She began.

I wasn't really listening to what she was talking about. I wasn't in the mood to hear nothing about school.

"Hey Kee Kee?" I interrupted.

"Huh?" She said.

"We have to talk later on today. I have to go. My mama said I shouldn't be too late comming home."

"Ok girl." She said "love you."

"Love you too girlie."
Then I was gone
...
That night I had just got out of the shower.
Today was actually the day where things were getting better.
I had a good time with my mama today. She took me to the mall, to the movies, and we went shopping for a little back to school outfit.
My mama was a big shopaholic.

*knock knock*
It was her.
"Hey baby." She said.

"Hey mama come on sit." I said happily.
She rushed to my furry chair next to the bed smiling. I know she was happy to see me happy.

"So you had fun today?" She asked.

"Most definitely!"

"Girl I'm glad you did. Which outfit you wearing in the morning?"

"Ooh I don't know yet. I have so many cute clothes to choose from."

"Ok baby, just let me know, you know your mama got to snap dem pics in the morning."

"Haha. Ok I got you. I'll be posing." I laughed back.

Her phone rang in the other room so she left.

I was so cozy in my bed with my pink panther night clothes on.
I wasn't to excited about school tomorrow though. I knew I was gone get some type of attention one way or another. I just had to deal with it though.
I remember that Kay Kay wanted me to call her, so I decided I'd turn my phone on.
I was very nervous cause I knew my phone was going to blow up again.
I wasn't going to read it though. I'll do that another time I guess.

Me and Kay Kay talked for hours once again, and she was right, a lot has happened. I think school wouldn't be to bad since I had her. I decided I should ride with her in her car tomorrow. We should go together.
