"Brings back a lot of memories, huh? All bad." Ben murmured as you all came to stand in front of the familiar, run down well where everything had seemed to go wrong all those years ago.

You whimpered when the memories of your fight with Henry flooded your mind, and you leaned into Bill for support. He wrapped his hand in yours reassuringly.

"Try not to think about it." Bev assured you, as if she knew what you were thinking.

The group of you ended up making your way down the well with much discomfort, mentally and physically. You were pretty much silent, other then mumbling profanities and reassuring messages to each other. You'd lost track of how many times Richie had mumbled "Oh, fuck this." Under his breath as he made his way down.

You crawled out of the familiar crevis where you had sat with your friends when you were just kids. It felt so weird to be back here, to a place you'd told yourself all those years ago you'd never return to. But considering the circumstances, you were glad you were here with your friends.

The sounds of rats squeaking and your friend's complaints echoed through the sewer as you stepped out of the pipe behind Richie. You felt the boots you'd borrowed from Beverly get drenched with the disgusting water- what had Eddie called it? Oh, 'Gray-water'.

You'd followed your friends through various passageways, your feet sloshing in the water. You tried not to think about what was in it as you walked as quickly as you could to keep up with Bill's long strides.

When you spotted the familiar opening that you'd found Beverly in years ago, you took a sharp intake of air. This time, instead of having a dry floor, the space was filled with water- and from how deep it looked, you didn't know whether you'd be able to touch the bottom.

"Shit. This is it." Ben spoke to the group, earning a few soft groans. "This is where it happened."

No one replied to him. After preparing yourselves mentally and physically, the group of exchanged some scared looks, before sinking yourselves into the water.

It was cold, just like you'd expected, and it went up to just above your chest- not as deep as you first thought. That's good.

You started following your friends as they made their way to where- what looked like a boat- was tipped upside down on a pile of trash, holding it up. The bottom of it made a perfect platform area.

When you finally made it to the platform, Bill grabbed your hands and helped hoist you up. You continued to help your friends get up- until you heard Ben call out to Beverly questioningly. She was standing still in the water just a meter or so away from you, shining her flashlight into the sewers- way you had come.

"I thought I heard something." Was all she said, before starting to walk towards you again.

You fell backwards from the edge when a creature suddenly emerged from the water in front of her, grabbing at her face.

Beverly began letting out screams and fighting against the creature- who was an extremely tall woman, with a distorted face. The sight terrified you and you shuffled back towards the middle of the pile, away from the creature.

"Time to sink." The creature hissed, before it pulled Bev underneath the surface with her.

You weren't sure what you were doing, because suddenly, you were standing and leaping into the water.

Beverly had been one of your best friends- she'd do the same for you. You couldn't imagine a world without the gorgeous redhead.

You heard your friends jump in after you, and when you hit the water, your hearing went out. You could hear bubbling screams from Bev, but it was pitch black underwater- you couldn't see a thing.
