Both shayera and peter were sitting together outside of the meeting room, they have been asked by the league to stay outside while they settled a few things.

Peter : so how are you feeling ?

Shayera : fine considering everything that happened, they must hate me.

Peter : het listen, you atoned for your mistake, you chose to protect this world and all it's people, as far as I am conserned you are a hero, you owned up for your mistake, that is something I have not seen many do.
Remmembering tony,reed and pym who caused many problems with their experiments, yet were never imprisoned or blamed.

Shayera : so you really are dating diana's mother, what is it like ?

Peter : I love her, she may seem cold to some, but to those who know her she is compassionate and kind and she loves me back.

Shayera : your lucky you have someone to love and love you back.

Peter : if you don't mind me asking, do you love someone.

Shayera : when I came to earth, I fell in love with green lantern, but I doubt he will like to see me.

Peter : I think you underestimate the true power of love, listen if you really love him and he really loves you then I know that you will both overcome anything that comes in your way.

Shayera : you think so ?

Peter : I am the recarnation of a spider god who fell in love with a cosmic being, even when I chose to be reborn our love trancended time and we are happy together.

Shayera : then I will take your word for it.

Then alfred entered the room.

Alfred : master parker, miss shayera the league wants to see you now.

They both entered to see the league waiting for them.

Clark : welcome both of you, regarding you shayera the leauge voted that...

Shayera interrupted him. "Before you start, I have something to say." She took a deep breath. "I came to this planet as a patriot. I had a mission and I carried it out. What I couldn't know was that I would come to care for the Earth, and her people." She looked at each of her teammates in the eye; even Batman, who looked at her in suspicion, and Wonder Woman, who still gave her a look of contempt. "That I'd come to care for all of you. I've spent the last five years torn between my feelings and my duty. I won't ask you to do the same." Her spine straightened, and some of her old fire returned. "Therefore I am resigning from the Justice League, effective immediately."

Everyone was stunned at what they heard, shayera left through the door.

Shayera headed outside,she heard noise outside and knew who it was.

John : you never asked how the vote went.

Shayera : it doesn't matter.

John : was any of it real ?

Shayera : I love you john

Shayera then spread her wings and flew out.

John stewert : I love you too.

With peter

Peter was now talking to the other memmbers of the justice league.

Clark : first I want to thank you for helping us today.

Peter : hey no problem, I was not going to sit around and let Earth be conquered by overgrown crows.

Flash laughed at peter's remark.
