𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎

3rd person POV

After the meeting, Stray Kids decided to go somewhere to eat lunch, since it was still noon. They all got into their black van and it was time to decide where to eat.

"We should go at McDonald's!"
Jeongin's eyes where sparkling with joy.

"Yesss I agree with Jeongin!!"

"I agree with Jeongin and Seungmin!"

"I agree with Jeongin and Seungmin and Soyeon!"

"I agree with... wait I lost count."

"I think we all agree so let's go at McDonald's."
Changbin settled the situation.

"YES! CHANGBIN HYUNG IS THE BEST!"

"This is the first time I hear Jeongin say that."
Soyeon says and Hyunjin adds "And probably the last." and everyone starts laughing while Changbin is throwing a tantrum.

"Guys, guys" Chan is trying to make himself heard through all the chaos "GUYS" now that he has all the attention on him he continues "I have food at home-"

"C'mon Chan, let the kids have McDonald's for lunch. Just this time." Minho turns to the others with a cheeky smile "And everything's on me okay?"

"Uhh, I guess it's McDonald's then." Chan says defeated and takes a right turn to arrive at McDonald's.

"OMG MINHO HYUNG IS THE BEST!"

"I thought I was the best!" Changbin pouts.

"Changbin hyung" Jisung says clinging onto Minho "know your place."

"We're here!" Chan announces and everyone gets out of the van excited running inside the store and sitting on a table.

After eating Minho paid the bill and Chan drove everyone home.

Chan's POV

I return home, I take my shoes off and immediately fall on the couch. I'm so tired, even though I try to hide it when I'm with the others. I haven't slept at all these past few days because of some mysterious messages I've been getting on my laptop. That's why I don't let anyone touch it, I'm afraid they're going to see one of these messages and get scared. I want to find out what they are first and then I'll tell them.

These messages involve such personal details, I'm sure that I'm being watched. The thing is that I don't know if the others are being watched as well. I just have to wait for another message to come and then I'll decide what to do.

*ding*

A message. I quickly open it.

"Hey Chan, did you have a fun time hanging out with your friends today? We hope you all ate well because we will be waiting for you at the old JYP headquarters at twelve a.m. Be there or be square. And no one wants to be a square.

So they want to meet. This could well be a poorly made trap but on the other hand... I really want to see who they are. I grab my phone before I think too much about it and change my mind. I open our group chat and send a message.

- Come at my house in an hour. We have a new mission for tonight.

I throw my phone on the coffee table and sigh. I decide that I can take a shower to relax a bit until the other members come, so I pick out some clothes and head to the bathroom.

It's 6 AM and we are all sitting in my living room. I'm getting worried looks from everyone until Seungmin finally breaks the silence "Chan, tell us what happened."

"Okay I will. But you have to promise me not to panic okay?" They all nod their heads so I continue "I am probably being watched."

"WHAT?"

"Jisung calm down! Let me tell you the whole story." I start explaining and as soon as I'm finished they all start asking me questions at the same time " Wait wait, one by one." Felix goes first "How long has this been going on?" I think for a bit before I answer "I think it's been four or five days, I'm not really sure." Felix sighs and lays back on the couch I'm frustration.

"Do you have any idea who they could be?"
Hyunjin asks now. "I'm not really sure, but I have this terrible gut feeling that it has something to do with SM."

"Are they the gang we're going to fight tonight?"
It's Soyeon's turn to ask.

"... yes they are." I can hear sighs escaping their mouths.

"Do you have a plan?" Jeongin's voice sounds rusty, he must be very tired. "Uhhh, actually I was hoping we could make one together...?"

"I have a plan."

We all turn to look at Minho surprised.

"What?"

Now I realise that he's been awfully quiet this whole time. He hasn't even shown a sign of surprise or agony.

"Chan, I already knew what you were going through. I accidentally saw one of the messages on your laptop and I just kinda understood what was going on. Then I realized that you seemed more tired each day and I could tell that something was troubling you. After the incident with NCT DREAM at the company I hacked into some files of SM and found that they have a group of known hackers, known as WAYV." He stops a bit to take a breath and drink some water.

"But how could a group made entirely of hackers fight us? They don't even know combat." Jisung is right. It's going to be way too easy for us.

"That's exactly why it can't be WAYV." Minho answers Jisung's question "I believe that they just had the task of hacking into Chan's server. Another group writes the messages, the group that challenged us tonight. Now, I can't surely know who that group is, but I managed to come up with a plan while you were talking."

He went on explaining his plan and when he finished we started getting ready. I'm positive that everything will go as planned.

Mark's POV

*at the SM headquarters*

"Mark, Johnny! Did you send the message like I told you?"

"Yes Taeil, we did." I hand him the laptop "Here, see for yourself."

"Hey Chan... we hope you all ate well... old JYP headquarters... be there or be square. And no one wants to be a square." He gives the laptop back to me "Was the square part really necessary?"
