𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆

Stray Kids run into the vans and left as quickly as possible. When they were already far enough enough to not be able to see Nct 127 Soyeon finally calmed herself down a bit and took a look at the other guys. Only then did she notice that Felix was a crying and sobbing mess. Jeongin was trying to comfort him, as Seungmin was too busy driving. She moved a seat closer to Felix and finally his muffled sobs started making sense. "I- I can't believe I killed him Jeongin. I KILLED him." It didn't take a genius to realize that he was talking about Jaehyun. Soyeon pulled out a water bottle from her backpack and gave it to him, trying to calm him down. She wasn't the best at calming people down, but she tried her best. Jeongin helped him drink some water, even though Felix didn't seem too fond of the idea.

"Felix.. I know you didn't mean to do that."He looks at the girl with red, puffy eyes "But that doesn't change the fact that I did it." He said and he continued crying."But w- when I saw him on top of Jisung with a pocket knife in his hand- I just wanted to hit his hand but he kept on moving and..." The others didn't speak for the rest of the ride, nor did Felix. It was just a comfortable silence with his cries filling up the air.

After this long night Mark was finally returning home, to the Nct Dream dorms. This was the first time that he had one of his comrades killed in front of his own eyes. He felt traumatized so he just locked himself in his room for the rest of the night. Two rooms next to him Somin was also up. She couldn't sleep, especially after the fight she had with the guys. She felt like they were always keeping secrets from her and the curiosity was eating her alive, but she couldn't do anything to find out. At least for now. When she heard Mark coming in and the door of his room closing, she carefully opened the door of her bedroom and peaked out. Not seeing anyone else in the hallway, she picked up the bag she had prepared and quietly made her way down the stairs and eventually out of the house, hoping that she wouldn't encounter one of her mom's spawns. After successfully reaching a busy street she decided to stop at a small convenience store at the corner of the road to eat something, since she hadn't eaten anything all day except for breakfast, so upon arriving she immediately made her way to the ramen aisle.

In the meantime, Stray Kids were already at Chan's home. They usually stay there, especially after missions, as it is the biggest one among their houses. Although it was late at night no one really wanted to sleep, so they all sat at the couches of the living room. Felix was still crying, the other members aimlessly trying to calm him down. Soyeon had gone to the bathroom, only to come back and see Hyunjin at the door. "Are you leaving already?" she asked him, then looked at the seven other guys "No, don't worry. I'm just going to the convenience store down the street to buy something to eat. Minho gave me some money to get something for everyone." "I'll come with you then." She offered "No, it's okay you don't have to-" "It wasn't a question. You're already tired enough." Putting on her shoes and a black jacket she and Hyunjin made their way to the convenience store.

"Okay, you go get the drinks, I'll go get the ramen and whoever finishes first finds the other." Soyeon said getting in the store and heading for the ramen aisle. While Hyunjin was busy picking drinks, Soyeon was struggling to reach a cup of ramen that was located on the top shelf. Why do they have to put them up so damn high? She wondered, even though her height was a bit below average. She decides to ask the lady next to her to help her with it "Hey, could you please help me reach that cup of ramen up there?" She asked trying to sound polite, but she forgot all about it when she saw the face of the lady, or more correctly the girl.

"Soyeon are you read- Wait what?" A confused Hyunjin had appeared, now staring at the two girls who look extremely identical to each other.

[a/n here's the chapter that I promised y'all -not that a lot of people read this book but who cares-. So yeah, this was more of a short filler chapter, made especially to lead to this final moment. Also I MISS HYUNJIN]
