"A wizard with heart of scorn,

Will cause many to mourn.

The third set of fairies of the age,

Let this wizard burn and rage.

But in the midst of this panicked time,

In the middle of many crimes,

A set of twins, boy and girl,

Are born to the Hidden World.

A dragon with skin like rain,

Will help the twins give the wizard great pain.

The light that glowed so long ago,

Only glows now when the wizard undergoes defeat,

And the middle crest can only rest when this one wizard is finally beat.

Two children can make it happen,

Only if they devote their fullest passion."

The mirror went back to it's original state as the last words of the prophecy disappeared off it's surface. It was now just a regular mirror. L.B was staring at Hobbit with his black eyes opened wide, apparently oblivious of the spider making it's way up his front. P.R, rather than keeping his eyes on one object or person as they were so incapable of doing, had his beady eyes flitting from the twins to Hobbit to the mirror. Scotch look amazed as if he hadn't expected a prophecy at all even though that had seemed the only subject of conversation for 11 years. Cordova had his head cocked with one ear dangling off him and the other pressed flat on his face. His little doggy eyebrows were raised as if he too hadn't expected a prophecy. Hobbit wasn't looking at anything in particular. She glanced at L.B and seemed to have a furious but silent staring argument with him. She then glanced at the twins with a helpless look on her face.

Surprisingly, Brendan was the first to break the silence, "I guess you were right." He glanced at his sister, to whom he had been talking to. She had an awed look on her face like she couldn't believe she had been right, which was a regular occurrence. She nodded slowly. Brendan didn't know what to ask next, he hadn't come up with the plan or even thought about saving anybody here if he could avoid it and besides that Kendra had told him not to talk but he figured the silence was going on too long and Hobbit was sure to ask something before to much time had passed.

"So...." He did not know where he was going to go from there. Kendra apparently remembered she was the one with all the things to say and snapped out of her trance-like state.

"Hobbit," she said again, "is there a way to tell the future here?" Hobbit studied her.

"Well," she said, "there is a way we can predict the future. Why?" Kendra didn't say anything. Brendan figured she had said everything she'd needed to say and he couldn't mess up everything by telling Hobbit about the whole reason they had wanted to hear the prophecy.

"Because we were thinking we can stop the wizards," he blurted. Kendra stared at him, appalled, her expression saying seriously?

I'd like to see you do better Brendan shot right back.

I certainly can't do much worse.

"It's no suprise you are trying to help," Hobbit said, not exactly keeping track of the conversation the twins had via looks but getting the message just the same. "You were going to help either way. We don't really fight with fate and according to the either unlucky or lucky date you were born on your fate has been decided. It will save you a lot of trouble starting now instead of later. Mind you, there'll be trouble either way, but less of it if you start now."
