-Hey hey hey :))
Welcome back to another chapter I hope you all are doing well. These chapters might be a bit delayed for many reasons. I'm trying to write these chapters to a higher standard so I might take a little longer. Also, I'm trying to go back I fix my shitty spelling and grammar mistake. Not to mention my 10+ missing assignments. I hope you all enjoy this chapter though. If you enjoy it make sure you press vote :) -

I had rested comfortably that night sleeping in a few hours longer than I normally would. I guess the fact I didn't have Tommy shouting about his love for women around the house at six in the morning helped. I shifted around for a few minutes before deciding it was best to get up and start off my day.

I began to prepare for the day, first picking out some clothes. I rummaged around a few minutes before deciding on what to wear. I landed on a red plaid shirt and a pair and navy trousers. I went off to get changed throwing on some boots as well.

I decided that I would make something for breakfast instead of skipping it. While the cake did look tempting I decided to refrain from eating it. Inside making some fresh eggs and toast. I cracked the eggs onto the pan and watched as they sizzled away occasionally flipping them. I laid them out on the plate adding the toast a few moments after. I happily ate away at the meal and it wasn't half as bad as I expected. For a newbie, I wasn't that bad of a cook.

I checked the clock for the time and it read 12:24. I decided that it was time I headed out. I tossed the dish into the sink with the rest of the cutlery from yesterday. I would be doing more baking today so I decided to leave the mess for later. I noticed that the dirty dishes were beginning to pile up and that it was inevitable that I would have to clean them at some point but that was a problem for sometime else.

The strawberry bushes were a bit of a walk away so I would have to bring some lunch for later. I went into Tommy's room and took his large satchel. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I borrowed it just this once. I began to fill the bag with containers and tins for the strawberries. I grabbed a bottle of water and some crackers before putting it all in the bag and preparing to leave. Before leaving I grabbed my keys and locked the front door checking it twice to ensure it had been properly closed.

I didn't quite see the point if locking the door, we lived in the middle of nowhere so the chances of robbery were practically zero per cent. Plus if someone were to decide to rob the house the windows were fragile and could be broken by a punch if thrown hard enough. Even if I disagreed with locking the door I decided to follow Phil's rules anyway I'm sure they were in place for a reason.

With the house secured I set off towards the strawberry bushes. Over the years I had visited the field so often that I no longer needed a map to guide me there. I knew the exact way needed to go. It was mid-summer so the heat was almost unbearable. The sun tore down at me and I began to sweat almost immediately. Although I kept on my path towards the berries.

The walk was so familiar. I walked across the small river, crossing quickly across the stepping stones dodging the frogs hopping past. I continued my way off through the forest. Birds flying through the crisp blue sky. With my large wings though things felt to be 100 times warmer.  I noticed there wasn't one cloud in sight, summer never usually lasted long here. The warm weather lasted for around a month at most and it would mostly be rain. When winter hit though, you could tell. Snowstorms were common and we were hit bad quite a few times. The snow would come to be around 8 inches on our worst seasons. So I learned to enjoy the summer I got.

After 20 minutes the field was in sight and seemed to be just 5 minutes away. I picked up my pace and continued on my way to the bushes dodging a few dead branches along the way. The bushes seemed to have grown a large amount since I had last seen them. The branches spread out with numerous berries dotted across them.
