-Recap -

"Uhhh... Yachi? You ok there?"

"Y-ye-yeah! Why wouldn't I be?? Hahahaha..." Yachi said, shaking furiously. Hinata then heard the terrified voice of one of their teachers, "HELP!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!" The two boys - Kageyama, unintentionally dragging Yachi along with them - quickly strode their way towards the classroom window, and peered out to the hallway.

The next thing heard was the sound of a horrified shriek, coming from the throat of none other than a small, Japanese girl with blonde hair and chestnut-brown eyes.

-End Recap-

A raven-haired girl sat in her homeroom class, looking out the window, only half-listening to what her teacher was saying. Something about an upcoming school event she was pretty sure. Although, she had other things on her mind. She was too busy thinking about a certain first-year that resided only two floors below her.

She's gorgeous, she thought. Small, frail, and anxious, yes. But... still. She's just. She's amazing. She's a natural when it comes to being a manager, too. It's crazy how much of an impact she has already made on those boys. I'm so lucky to have her by my side. It was then that she noticed her class staring at her and the teacher looking slightly annoyed.

"Miss Kiyoko, if you would be so kind as to stand up and tell the class about the fundraiser you have planned for your club, that would be great." Her teacher said with an unamused smile.

"Oh, yes. Of course. I apologize." Just as she was about to stand up right to walk to the front of the class, there was a sudden wailing coming from outside. The stillness that overtook the school for just a moment felt long and eerie, like watching a scary movie at dusk.

"What was that?" A large man beside her asked. A slight stubble grazed itself maturely across his chin, giving him a more masculine appearance, contrast to the long, silky hair he pulled into a loose bun on the back of his head. He sat tall in his chair, clearly anxious as he paid no attention to the few strands of hair that fell across his face when he looked up out the classroom window, peering across the room to the outside world. His face quickly changed from a worried expression, to one of pure horror.

Kiyoko decided to follow his line of sight, confused as to why his features changed so quickly. She went completely still. Her blood ran cold. She wanted to let out a scream of terror, but nothing would come out. She was completely frozen. Finally, she was able to muster up one simple phrase, "Dear God..."

That's when the screaming in the hallways, the instruction over walkie-talkies and franticity began. Students and teachers ran desperately into classrooms, others began barricading doors and covering windows as they were instructed. Asahi and Kiyoko could do nothing but stay still and watch as their whole world crumbled around them. Is this how it ends? They thought in unison. And maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. That was what they were about to find out. The next decade of their lives would be a constant test of their skills, and the scary part was: all the 'survivors-to-be' knew that in the back of their minds. That's what scared them the most.
