Rio was pissed.

That was an understatement.

The housewives had succeeded at putting him in jail, but within the hour he was out. You had came to the rescue and bailed your husband out of jail. Sure you were mad too, you had to leave the hospital at where you worked for this shit.

You would do anything for your husband, anything. But sometimes you wished he lived a normal life. Your stepson Marcus was watching cartoons when your husband walked through the door.

You got a call from Mick, telling you just what to expect when Rio came home. You knew to tread lightly around him when he was that angry. Chopping up some onions and garlic you were ready to make dinner for the evening.

"Hey" you greeted your husband while busy. You looked up to see a very calm looking Rio. He knew how to handle his emotions very well.

He came around the kitchen counter to softly peck your lips. The kiss was slow and soft although he felt anger coursing through his veins, he knew how to be gentle with you.

"Whatchu making mama?" he asks wrapping his arms around your waist while you worked on dinner. His face was buried in the crook of your neck as he took in the scent of your sweet coconut bodywash, which he loved.

"Marcus has been begging me to make tacos all week so here we are" you smiled remember the cute pouty face he made.

"You're way too good to us ma" he replies with a chuckle seeing as you just got home from a busy day at the hospital and there you were in the kitchen cooking.

"did you greet your son yet?" you question softly.

"nah" he replied kissing your exposed neck before making his way to the living room where the 6 year old was. You immediately missed his warmth as walk to the fridge for the tortillas.

Soon Rio came back into the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge before taking a seat behind the counter. He watched silently as you worked your way around the kitchen.

"What are you gonna do about the whole situation?"

He stared at you for a while before replying to your question.

"what I need to do" he answered vaguely, sipping on his bottle.

"Remember they have kids and a-"

"What you think this is baby? Little league? They get a slap on the wrist and a 'do better next time'?" he asked you with hostility in his voice. His eyes narrowed as he watched you.

"I understand that what they did was--"

"If you understood then you wouldn't be asking me these questions. You married a gang leader, you know the rules ma"

You married a gang leader and you did know the rules. You knew it well and by heart but these women didn't. These mothers that your husband planned to 'handle' didn't know any better than you to cross him. You liked Annie and Beth. Sometimes you would hang out and help them out with the drops.

"They ain't getting no second chances" he continued.

"Please Rio? They have kids...what if I tried something like that to another gang and they killed me, how would you feel huh?"

"you ain't stupid enough to do that. If you're gonna whine and bitch about my decisions then don't bother asking me about it" he stated coldly.

"No me hables como si yo soy uno de tus pandillero que se inclina ante ti. Yo no soy el jodido Christopher (Don't talk to me like I'm one of your gang members who bow down to you. I ain't the fucking one Christopher) " you hissed back.
