Chapter 24: Jealous

Kayla POV:

I ran away to the elevator. The guy behind the desk shouted me that I couldn’t walk around like I was, but it was too late because the elevator just got there.

I was so glad to be in a safe place that was risky. The elevator stopped at my floor as I walked out there was a comfortable silence and I was ready to get in to the messy room.

I opened the door and saw 6 people talking to each other, some were watching television others were sleeping.

-What’s up? – I said making the board lean on the wall, it was already dry so there was no problem.

-You came like that? – Justin asked.

-Chill Justin. – I said. – How are you guys? – I asked Ryan, Hannah and to Christy. Soph and Chaz were knocked out.

- My head hurts. – Christy said. Leaning on Hannah.

-You are leaning on the wrong person! – Hannah said and she pushed her until she leaned on Ryan.

-Why are you saying that? – Christy said.

-Because you couldn’t get your hands off him last night.

-I can’t remember that. – She said a bit shy. Ryan looked like he knew something was up. – What about you guys? – She said pointing to me and Justin.

-Fine. – I said smiling. – In need of a shower. – I said smiling.

-That’s it? Just fine? – Hannah asked.

-We are fine. Right Justin?- I said.

-I guess we are more than fine. – He said smiling.

-Alright. - Hannah said.

-Do you mind guys? – I said pointing to the bathroom. Justin got up and walked near to me.

-You okay? – He asked me.

-Why wouldn’t I? – I asked him.

-It’s just…. Never mind. – He said.

-I’m super Justin. – I said and walked closer to him to kiss him quickly on his lips.

-Alright! - He said. I got to my drawer and picked some cloths out. I was really excited, I didn’t know why, but maybe it was the surf thing.

I quickly showered and then returned to the room where everyone was.

-So what are we going to do tonight? – I asked sitting next to Justin. He got his arm around me. Soph and Christian woke up while I was in the shower.

-I’m staying here. – Christy said.

-I’ll just head back to the hotel. – Christian said and so did Ryan.

-I go with you guys, I still need to go to the studio to record that song. – Justin said beside me.

-What song? – Hannah asked.

-Is just one I wrote, it’s not a big deal. – He said like it was normal. Wait! It was normal he was an artist, a musician… I didn’t speak. I just thought about that, we had such a different life.  

-I want to listen to that. – Christy said.

-You will. – He said smiling. He looked at his watch. – Ugh! I got half hour to get there.

-Go! I don’t want you to get in trouble. – I said to him. I felt him tense beside me.

-Alright. – He said. – Let’s go? - He said to his boys.

-Sure. – Ryan said. They started to say goodbye to everyone. I saw the hesitation he had as he was going to say good-bye to Christy. I had to smile at that. I was so focused on them that I didn’t see Justin standing in front of me. – Oh… - I said standing up.

-See you tomorrow? – He asked me.

-Yeah. – I said. – Afternoon?

-Sure. – He said smiling and said goodbye to me.

I said goodbye to the rest of the boys. They simple went away, after they closed the door I lay on the bed, since we weren’t going anywhere I had change in to a PJ.

-So Chris, what’s up with you and Ryan? – I said smiling. I saw her blushing a lot.

-Yeah. – Soph said.

-Missy doesn’t talk. – Hannah said. – You couldn’t take the hands of Christian.

-I don’t know what’s going on.  – Christy said burying her face in the pillow.

-Are you falling for him? - Soph asked.

-It’s just last night I drank a bit too much. – Chris said. I yawned.

-And you? – Hannah said.

-What happened last night with the Biebs? – Soph added smiling.

-Nothing… - I said as I remember what really happened. – By the way how do you remember anything from last night? – I asked her.

-I wasn’t that drunk! – She said like it was obvious.

-I don’t believe nothing happened Kayla. - Hannah said.- The way you both showed up in the room… - She said. – That was the same look I had when me and Matt… you know. – She said like it was obvious.

-I didn’t do it. – I said.

-Oh my god Kayla. You guys did it! – She said throwing me a pillow at me. The conversation went from normal to awkward.

-Alright enough of the topic: Boys! – I said and hoped I didn’t blush.

-Okay. – Soph said giving up. I looked over Christy who was quiet and thinking. I didn’t say a thing about it. Sometimes it was better to let it alone.

-Girls you want to go to the beach tomorrow? – I asked them.

-Oh, there goes ocean freak. – Hannah said texting on her phone.

-Not really. – Christy said. – I want to see the walk of fame.

-Then, will go there. – I said smiling, I was curious about it. I started to feel my body getting tired and I yawned again.

-Your surf trip is making you tired. – Soph said. – Get some rest.

-Sleep well girls. – I said to them.  I closed my eyes and they kept talking to each other. They talked in a low tone. It wasn’t long after I felt in sleep.
