Under the sakura tree [Obanai Iguro x Female reader]

What's the surprise?

We got off the tree and went back to the others. We got to the destination and everyone were surrounding me like crazy, asking questions, like: How are you so powerful?; Is the spider, on your shoulder, poisonous?; Who taught you the strategies?, and more. Sanemi was just straight up proud of me! I felt great, but also a bit confused.

•half an hour later•

Kagaya Ubuyashiki: So everyone are gathered, we can start the plan.
Y/N: what plan?
Shinobu: oh, uhhh-
Tengen: it's a surprise!

Interesting. A surprise... What could it be? A new sword? A new haori? But it was a way better surprise...

First, we had a maze to complete (which was very weird, cause it would be very easy for hashiras, but it was medium level).

Next was to defeat demons, but you need a partner in work, so I chose Iguro. It was a bit difficult, but easy, since I defeated a twelfth kizuki recently.

And the last part was to tell me their wishes and lastly mine to them. Everyone told their wishes (they were the same: that I can become a hashira), and it was my turn. I wished to see my grandma and grandpa, cause I haven't seen them for ages.

They told me, to close my eyes, and then, Mitsuri put on another eye cover, which I couldn't see through. I could hear, that there's a rumble in front of me. Then I heard this small sentence:
Iguro: take those covers off now.

I got them off. I saw grandma, grandpa and master Ubuyashiki. First, I listened to the speech and I didn't regret it. I was proud of myself and crying at the same time. I ran to hug my grandparents and I was sobbing in their arms, while everyone were clapping for me...

I became a hashira.
