Under the sakura tree [Obanai Iguro x Female reader]

~Why do you care about me?

For an hour or two, I am sitting in a tree, crying, calling myself a psychopath, and have no idea how to calm myself down. Then, I can hear Iguro, walking around the forest. Probably wants to find me, bring me to Sanemi, and he [Sanemi] can kill me. If he calls my name, I won't answer-

Iguro: Y/N I KNOW YOURE HERE!

Crap. He knows I'm here. What do I answer? Probs nothing? What if Sanemi really wants to kill me? I shall say nothing...

But Iguro found me, and jumped incredibly high, and landed on the branch I was on. I thought he will yell at me, but then,

Iguro: is everything ok?
Y/N: you just want to speak to me, so I can "trust" you, yea?

Y/N: Sanemi wants to kill me, right? Of course he does, because I almost killed him-
Iguro: Are you out of your mind?! He was impressed by your skills! And kinda surprised, that you almost killed a hashira.
Y/N: he shouldn't have been. He was supposed to be mad at me, 'cause I almost ended his life, and it's all my fault!

My eyes started to tear up, so I leaned my head down and silently cry, but somehow, Iguro understood, that something was wrong.

Iguro: Hey, is everything ok-
Y/N: WHY DO YOU CARE ABOUT ME? I ALMOST KILLED A LEGENDARY DEMON SLAYER-
Iguro: LISTEN TO ME Y/N!

5 seconds of silence

Iguro: Listen, you're not a psychopath, your skills are the reason you almost killed him. And it's incredible. So you don't need to blame yourself for that, ok?

I nod my head with my watery eyes.

Y/N: why do you care about me, Iguro?
Iguro: 'Cause I want to have a new friend.

He smiled after saying that.
And I agreed to his friend request.
