Patrick pov

I've been waiting for half an hour now. Maybe I should leave, and try to convince my dad a little before tomorrow.

Until I heard someone opening the door. I turned around and it was the man himself.

Pete.

"Patrick, it's so nice to see you again" he says.

"I wish that I could say the same." I said.

"Let me guess why your here... your father right?"

"Yes! Why are you doing this Pete?"

"Patrick, it's business I must look out for my families wealth, you more then anybody knows about that."

"Then why did you ask my dad to give me to you?" I asked.

"Because having you would be one of the biggest fortunes I could ever have" He says.

"Why me?"

"Patrick, when I first saw you I thought you were the most handsome guy I ever saw, I fell for you instantly." He says approaching me. He knelt down in front of me and took my hand in his.

"Pete...you don't think I feel the same." I asked.

"I know you don't, but I know I can make you change your mind."

I shook my head. I released my hand from his and stood up.

"I don't think you can" I said.

He stood up and walked up to his desk. "Then?"

"I may never fall for you Pete, but I'm willing to do anything for my family... so that's why I accept your marriage proposal."

I could have swore his face lighten up with the news.

"Does your father know?" He asked.

"I'm old enough to make my own decisions, and besides this marriage is only for a year right?"

"Yes Of course. You also know there will be a contact involved right?" He asked.

I nodded. Of Course there always is.

"Great, you'll sign it the day before the wedding to read over it and stuff."

"My father?" I asked.

"I'll call my lawyers and tell them the change of plans. Don't worry Patrick, the only way he'll ever go near a cell would be if you don't follow your contract ." He smiled.

"Is that all, can I leave?" I asked.

"When do you want the wedding to be?"he asked.

I shrugged. If it was up to me never.

"Well, how about this Saturday?" He said.

Thats like five days away. Fuck.

"Yeah, sure whatever."

"Well, I'll contract you tomorrow about everything." He says.

I nodded and headed out the door instantly.

I hope I made the right choice.
