Pete pov

"Come on Patrick what do you say?"

"I don't know Pete I told you I'm kind confused about everything, Look I know I told you I might have feelings for you but...."

"But, Patrick I'm just asking for a chance, I mean I know where married but I really want to date you for real and if things don't work out I'll give you the divorce."

"Pete I want the divorce regardless if I want to stay with you or not, that was the deal."

"I know, but I want you to let me help you figure out your feelings for me and yeah if you discover it was nothing but attraction then, I'm done and I won't bother you anymore."

Patrick looked down at his plate. We were at a restaurant for lunch, not to far from the office.

I lifted up his chin making him look up at me. "What do you say Trick?"

He nodded. "Okay Pete, but if it doesn't work out... I mean I don't want to ruin what we have now."

"And what do we have now Patrick?"

"I don't know, even if you said you could never see me as a friend, I at least want you to be... if this doesn't work out."

I nodded. "Okay Patrick, will be best friends."

He laughed. "So what do we do now?"

"Well since your now my husband/ boyfriend... I don't know, to be honest I never throught you'd say yes."

"Well, why don't we go on a date?" Patrick suggested.

"A date... sounds perfect, I'll cancel everything I have to do for the rest of the day."

"You don't have to do that" Patrick says.

"I know, but I want to... Besides it's nothing but paper work."

"Okay then, where are we going?"

"I don't know yet, do you have somewhere you want to go for the day?"

"Nope.... So I'll let you figure it out."

"What, so your going to leave everything to me?" I asked.

"Yup" he says finishing up the rest of his food.

"But your the one who came up with the idea."

"Yeah, but your the one trying to impressed me, not the other way around."

I laughed. I can't believe this is happening, Patrick is actually agreed to give me a shot. I can't do anything stupid that can mess all this up.

"Pete, you ready to go?"

I nodded. "Yup, but we have to go home first so I can change."

"Okay." he says as we get up from our seats.
