Elsie felt more comfortable around Draco after last night for some reason. The awkwardness was gone when her eyes opened that morning as the junior healer came into take their last set of vitals before they were to be discharged.

That was the best night's sleep she had gotten in a long time, and the hospital beds were a lot comfier than she expected them to be.

"Good morning."

Draco sat on the side of the bed and yawned, running a hand through his bed head hair.

"Good morning." Elsie smiled to herself, raking her fingers through her hair to get out any tangles.

"Good morning! Rise and shine! We are getting out of here today!"

Narcissa Malfoy burst into the room like a bright ray of sunshine.

A bright ray of sunshine where a stunning dark grey dress and black heels to die for.

Margaret walked in cheerily behind Narcissa, a wide smile on her face as well.

What Draco and Elsie didn't expect to see was Hermione, Harry, and Ron all walking in behind them.

The three of them smiled warmly at Draco and Elise, but then their faces shifted to that of a bit of confusion.

"You two sleep in the same bed?" Ron questioned in disbelief.

"I'm more surprised they slept in the same room if I'm being quite honest." Harry added in, looking around the room at the bland décor.

"Will you two hush?" Hermione whispered sternly before turning back into the center of the room, "Good morning to the both of you."

"Slow day at the office?" Draco raised an eye brow before rubbing his eyes of sleep.

"No, um...Mr. Warbeck scheduled a meeting here. For all of us. Including your mothers and Minister Shacklebolt and someone named...Shoot?"

"Soot." Draco and Elsie corrected simultaneously.

"The minister? Oh wow, isn't that something." Margaret sighed heavily as she handed Elsie her toothbrush.

Narcissa and Margaret started chit chatting, and Draco walked stole the bathroom to shower before Elsie could get in there to brush her teeth.

"How have you been, Elsie? Sorry I couldn't stop back in yesterday. We were swamped with paperwork, and everyone and their mother has been stopping by the office to ask about the two of you." Hermione smiled and sat on the bed next to Elsie.

"Yeah. We've gotten enough flowers in there to start our own garden." Harry chuckled.

"I've been...alright. Everything has just been a bit weird; you know? It's been hard to understand." Elsie swallowed nervously.

"Yeah...I'd imagine getting struck by bloody lightning really shakes things up." Ron chuckled, standing tall with his hands in his pockets, "But I'm glad you're feeling better. Was a bit worried there for a second, not going to lie."

Hermione scowled at her fiancé before turning back to Elsie with a nice smile.

"Ginny wishes she could be here as well but she felt terribly sick this morning, so I insisted she stay in bed a while. Those pregnancy hormones do awful things, I tell you." Harry shuddered.

Ginny was nearly 8 months pregnant and glowing. Harry beamed with pride every time someone brought up his fast approaching fatherhood, and always asked for people's opinions on baby names, and what age they thought was appropriate for a child to get their first broom.
