This is a short summary of what happened during the series in the alternate universe version.
The first arc:
Clay and his friends escape the caves, and Dune and Webs die. Queen Scarlet takes them and Kestrel prisoner, and forces Clay to fight Fjord. Clay wins by choking the IceWing, and then it's Tsunami's turn. She snaps Gill's neck, and wins the match. After, during Kestrel's trial, Peril interrupts and learns the truth. She calls upon the champion's shield tradition, and Osprey falls to his death. During the party, Starflight gets stabbed in the side by a scavenger, and then taken away by the NightWings. Peril and Clay fight, and with Glory's help escape. However, Glory does not hit Scarlet's face, only her arm. They escape, and visit Clay's mother and sibs. Then they head towards the Sea Kingdom.
In the Sea Kingdom, Tsunami meets Riptide, and he brings her to the Summer Palace. This time, thought, they do not run into Shark. Tsunami meets her mother and Anemone, and everything goes as normal. Later, Tsunami is attacked by a mysterious dragon, but he or she gets away unharmed, leaving her unconscious in the tunnel. She is later brought to a medic, etc. After, when Tsunami is in the hatchery protecting Auklet's egg, the statue does manage to crush it, but Tsunami survives. Queen Coral is convinced by Blister that locking the dragonet so up is a good idea, and they only escape with Anemone's help. She also reveals to them who attacked Tsunami in the tunnel, but doesn't summon the dragon, who is Whirlpool. They escape, and on to the next book.
Glory and the gang make good time to the forest, and when they arrive, things progress as normal, save for the queries about the monster, since they never saw the dead MudWings. Glory begins her search for the missing RainWings, and she discovers the tunnels. She goes in alone, and finds herself in the kingdom of Sand. After that, she ends up chasing Mangrove, and meeting Blaze. However, she does not meet Deathbringer. After, when watching the hole, she and Tsunami manage to capture an assassin named Deathbringer. She then uses herself as bait and gets captured. She and Kinkajou escape on their own, but Kinkajou is injured quite badly. Glory challenges the queen, and wins the challenge per normal.
Starflight gets kidnapped, and meets Fatespeaker and his father, Mastermind. Things progress as normal, except for when at the end, Morrowseer does not die, and instead escapes by flying away from the island. Queen Battlewinner also survives, by staying in the erupted volcano, where she remained amongst the lava until help was brought and she left with a new bucket of lava.
In the final book, Sunny is also kidnapped, but she doesn't escape. The NightWings take her to the Scorpion Den, where Thorn rescues her from them. Sunny then gets captured by Burn after being betrayed by Addax, only to be saved by Thorn and Peril. Peril leaves with Queen Scarlet, and Thorn and Sunny do too. After, during the final meeting of the sisters, Burn kills Blaze, and then Blister chases Burn away. But when Sunny and the others get the Eye of Onyx, they give it to Thorn, and Blister leaves, promising revenge.
The second arc:
Everything in Moon Rising is the same.
In Winter Turning, nothing changes until they confront Icicle, and instead of taking her captive, they send her to the Sand Kingdom to fare for herself. Later, when rescuing Hailstorm, Chameleon manages to give minor injuries to Kinkajou, but not as bad as in the real world.
In Escaping Peril, everything happens per normal except that Peril convinces Queen Scarlet to go into hiding while Peril kills Ruby for her, but she is stopped by Turtle and the gang, leaving Queen Scarlet and Queen Ruby alive.
In Talons of Power, Darkstalker escapes through the burning of his scroll, but this time Qibli doesn't notice the everybody-likes-me spell until after Darkstalker has left to the rainforest with Turtle and Anemone. Meanwhile, Turtle does things per usual, except instead of Kinkajou being free from the spell, she was only healed. In the end, Turtle is still captured by Darkstalker.
In Dakrness of Dragons, Qibli does everything as normal, except for passing out his loads of earrings, since they were never enchanted. When he goes to see Darkstalker with Anemone and Winter, he is still under the spell, and doesn't try to overthrow him at all. Anemone does, however, and is driven away by Qibli, Moon, Winter, Peril and Turtle.
The third arc:
The lost continent and hive queen are the same, except that Luna doesn't get blown to Pyrhhia.
In the Poison Jungle, Hawthorn dodges Willow's thorn, but is still chased away. Later, most of the LeafWings are taken over with the gas, but Blue, Swordtail, Sundew, Bumblebee, Luna, and Queen Sequoia all escape to Pyrrhia with the remainder of the tribe. However, Queen Wasp gets her hands on the map, and travels to Pyrhhia as well, only to meet Darkstalker. Together, the two of them gather the rest of the villains, and then the Darkness Falls/Descendants series begins...
