The Girl in a Cloak

Third Person P.O.V

The Wild Kratts arrived back at the lake shortly. Chris and Martin began to search for any clues that could lead to the owner of the (f/a) necklace. "Guys! I think I found something!" Jimmy Z yelled as the crew saw a flowing piece of (h/l) (h/c) hair flowing in the breeze, caught on a branch.  Chris pushed the bushes aside and found shoe prints leading back into the woods.

The crew began to follow the prints in hope of finding the owner. They climbed over a few rocks, skipped over a small creek and took a few turns while following the prints. "These tracks are leading us nowhere. We're never gonna find the owner." Jimmy said. A twig snapped near him as he screamed and hid behind the brothers. "Or...... maybe we are."

Unknown P.O.V

I heard footsteps near me as I was sitting on a small rock, watching the leafs fall near my face. I wore a long black cloak that covered every inch of my body from behind. I touched my neck and sighed, thinking of how I could have lost my necklace. I stood up and was about to walk away to search for it when I stepped on a twig. I heard a yelp as I looked around and suddenly ran off to hide and found a small cave. I hope they won't see me I thought as I stuck near the wall, hoping to blend in with the shadows of the cave.

Koki's P.O.V

I heard footsteps retreating near me and saw more footprints near a rock. "Guys! Look!" I said as they all rushed over to me. "More tracks! We must be close. " Martin said as he bent down to look at the tracks. Aviva and I were walking around the area when we spotted a small cave. "Guys, over here! We found a cave! " Chris, Martin and Jimmy came towards us and looked in the cave.

Unknown P.O.V

I heard footsteps near the cave I was hiding in. I saw two girls at the entrance, one had long brown hair in a ponytail, almond skin, a yellow long-sleeve jacket and blue jeans. The other girl had blackish brown hair, brown skin, a red-orange shirt and yellow pants. I watched them call for someone and more people came to look in the cave.

Chris' P.O.V

I looked in the cave and took out my creature pod. "Let's see if anybody is here." I shot a light into the cave and saw something black lurking in the shadows. "Hello?" Martin asked. Nobody answered. I slowly began walking towards the cave trying to see if anybody was there. I could sense somebody was near me and shot the light in the direction I thought they were.

Unknown P.O.V

I saw a light coming in my direction and did the only logical thing I could think of. Run. I bolted past the person and ran into the woods once again. "Hey, wait!" I heard someone say behind me. I stopped running, wanting to see who this person was. I saw two young men around my age looking at me as I stood a few feet away from them, panting slightly. "We only want to talk." The one in blue said. "Who are you?" I asked softly, not knowing if they could hear me as 3 more people came into my view next to the other 2. "Well, my name is Chris, and this is my older brother Martin." The one in green said as he gestured to his brother. "This is Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy Z." Martin said as he pointed to the other people next to them. Wait, Chris and Martin? I thought as a flashback came into my mind.

Flashback:

I was walking in my new school, not knowing anybody here. I was heading into the 7th grade (I am in 7th but you can change it)classroom when some boys blocked my path. "Where are you going girl?" I assumed who was the leader was asked me. I back away slightly, a little worried about what they would do to me. They began walking closer to me as I back up more and more. They knocked my books out of my hands and laughed at me. All my pages were spread everywhere. They had left me alone as I began to pick up my books and began crying softly, wondering if this was the right school for me. "Hey, are you okay?" I looked up to see kind brown eyes looking at me. Two boys were looking at me, one was wearing green and the other had blue eyes and a blue shirt. They both knelt down beside me and helped pick up my books and papers. "Are you new here?" The one in blue asked. I nodded slightly. I saw both of them smile as we all got up. "I'm Martin and this is my brother, Chris." Martin said. "I'm (Y/n) (l/n)." The boys both nodded at me and gave me my things back. "Thanks for helping me. It's my first day here and I haven't made any new friends here." I said while looking down shyly. Chris wrapped an arm around my left shoulder and said ,"Well, (Y/n), we could be your friends." I looked at both of them and smiled. "Yea, that would be great." Martin wrapped an arm around me on the other side. "And, don't worry. We'll protect you from anybody who wants to do any harm to you." Martin said. We all began walking to class, with me thinking about how this day was going to go well.

I looked at both the brothers eyes and remembered the day I met both of them a few years ago. "Who are you?" Chris asked me. "I........ I'm (Y/n) (l/n)." I said and took off my hood of the cloak. I had a scar on my left eye from an incident I will explain to them later. They both gasped and started crying softly. "(Y/n)?" The boys both asked. I nodded at them and they ran and engulfed me in a hug. I returned the hug and once we broke apart, they each wrapped an arm around my waist. "Ummm, Chris, Martin, who is she?" Aviva asked. "Well, this is our best friend (Y/n). We met a few years ago in middle school and soon hit it off after that. "
