1 month later—
"i'm starting to believe you're really shifting there, (___)" sasha said, grabbing a pillow from my bed. she came over to my house to hangout and most likely try to interrupt me studying.
"i don't know, i'm still skeptical" i said from my desk, i opened my laptop to open the powerpoint my teacher sent to the class email. "it's all just a dream, i'm sure of it"
"you've been going there for a month or so, and your story there seems to be continuing, not so far fetched anymore, right?" sasha debated.
"no listen.. i like to be creative with my comic and story ideas when i draw, maybe my imagination is just wide enough for me to have a continuing dream" i replied, although i really do hope it's all real, i still need to be realistic, i'm not letting myself be happy just with false hope.
"wait (___), are you studying a material that we haven't studied yet? the powerpoint is only filled with questions that our teacher haven't explain how to solve!" sasha mentioned, pointing to my paper. "did you actually learn this by yourself? did you google it?" sasha asked.
i held in a laugh. "no, why would i study? i'm even more lazy than you sasha, the teacher in fukurodani taught me this two days ago and—"
"..."
"can your 'dream' teach you how to solve that then?" sasha smirked. she's right, it's odd that my dream can teach me something i haven't learned at school, nor learned myself.
"i don't know" i answered. "i really don't know"

"(___)-chan! you're spacing out! are you okay? is something wrong?" bokuto asked, poking my cheek.
"oh, i'm fine bokuto! you can stop poking my cheek now" i laughed. bokuto stopped and kept looking at me with a curious look. "really, i am" i reassured.
"you should call be 'bokuto-senpai' you know! i'm one year older than you" he joked.
"well even if i'm fluent in japanese, you know i just call you 'bokuto' because i consider you as my close friend right?" i smiled.
bokuto jumped a little as his face flushed red. "can i.. be your best friend then?" he asked, turning towards me with a shy expression.
i immediately laughed loudly at his question, a few students walking by ended up staring at me because of my sudden outburst. i calmly collected myself and turn towards bokuto who's eagerly waiting for an answer.
to be honest i do want to say yes but what sasha said got me thinking about this. i have to stop doing this one day, if i keep doing this then i'll get too attached to this surreal dream, or perhaps second reality, i eventually need to stop doing things to shift and just go to bed peacefully. but looking at bokuto's determined face, hoping that i'll say yes.. i can't say no to him, not just cause he'll be upset, but cause i don't want to lie to him.
"of course bokuto, only if you let me be your best friend too, second to akaashi though" i grinned.
he smiled widely. "of course! then let me treat you to eat somewhere! i have volleyball practice at school tomorrow and since it's a saturday we can finally go out together!"
"sure let's go tell akaashi then!" i said as i walk away to go find akaashi.
bokuto suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me back. "no (___)-chan, not together as in us and akaashi but,
us as in, just you and me"

note : bokuto immediately asked akaashi for help an hour later.
