It's been a couple days since Adrian helped Marinette with the bakery. It actually went pretty well he helped with making the bread dough and putting the pans in the oven. Before he went home tho, Marinette gave him a bag of croissants to take home for all the help.
Right now Marinette is just sitting outside on the terrace, Watching and looking out of the sky. No one was Akumatized today so it was a pretty laid-back day.
Marinette looking at the sky she heard some thing or someone coming from behind her like someone was walking open to her but it was coming for the roof of her house.
When she turned around to see who or what it was on her roof she was shocked to see Cat Noir, she wondered what he was doing out this late especially with no Akumatized people.
"Why hello there Marinette" Cat Noir said as him sitting down on the railing looking at Marinette. "Hello, what are you doing out here this late?"Marinette said still looking at the sky.
"Ah funny story actually... I decided it would be a good idea just to go check the town to make sure everything's fine. I sat on the Eiffel Tower for a while then I seen you and decided to talk to you for a little bit and...now we're here" Cat says looking a back an forth between Marinette and the sky. Marinette only replied with um sound.
After a little bit of sitting in a comfortable silence staring at the sky Cat decided to ask marinette about how her day went. She really just replied with " It was good, I made a couple croissants for Adrian but that's really it."
"Oh good I am sure he will love them" he said smiling at Marinette. "I hope so ha, he has been eat a lot of croissants lately."
"Yeah he must love them a lot then" "yeah" Marinette said looking out at the night sky.
Then suddenly it dawned on Marinette "Hey have you ever had one of my croissants before. I mean almost everyone in Paris has had my families dessert so wouldn't shock me if you've had had one"
" I don't think I've had one of your croissants but I definitely had had other thing I think they're called macaroons? right" cat noir said as he made the shape of tiny circle with his hands. "Yes they're called macaroons" Marinette said smiling at his attempt to make a circle with his hands.
"Well stay right here and I'll be back in a second" "Umm okay" Cat Noir said wondering where she was going.
After about five minutes of waiting finally Marinette comes back up with a tiny little box of croissants for Cat Noir.
"Oh thank you Marinette you didn't have to" "No it's my pleasure you save the town after all it's the least I can do to repay you for keeping us safe."
Cat noir were very appreciative of what she just said to him "I guess if you put it that way well thank you"
After about an hour or two of talking they finally called it a night and Cat Noir went home and enjoyed his croissants as Adrian.
