Obscured worlds

Chapter 1

Andrea's pov: 

"Fuck!!" I groaned as I tripped and fell face-first onto the ground.

I looked behind me and saw it standing there just a few feet away from me.

I don't know what the fuck it is.

All I know is that I need to run.

Or I'll get killed.

I scrambled to my feet and started running as fast as I could.

The sound of the leaves getting crushed under my footsteps and my heavy breathing filled my ears as I ran through the dark forest.

That thing's footsteps are completely silent.

But I could tell it was gaining on me.

I could feel its murderous aura and its hot breath.

"Dammit! Why the fuck do I have to so fucking short?!" I cursed loudly.

My legs were burning from running for so long and the soles of my feet were hurting.

But I didn't stop.

I couldn't.

I can't afford to die now.

I'm only 17 for god's sake! I have so much life ahead of me!

Yeah, blame your own stupid ass for deciding to go into the jungle at night. I scoffed internally.

I noticed a huge tree up ahead.

Yes!!

I ran up to it and climbed as fast as I could.

I looked down once I was sure I was high enough.

The creatures were growling up at me from the bottom of the tree.

"Heh! First, learn how to fucking climb then come at me, you idiot!" I laughed.

To my astonishment, one of them started climbing up the tree.

"Fuck!" I swore. "How the fuck are they able to climb?"

I started climbing higher and higher up the tree until the dark sky revealed itself from the trees.

I heard the trees rustle below me.

An idea crept through my mind.

I took the only weapon I had, A Kunai, which my mother had shoved into my hand on the day we fled from our village.

I looked back down the tree and saw their burning red eyes staring at me like hunters eyeing their prey.

I aimed it at the eye of the one closest to me and threw it as hard as I could.

The kunai pierced into the troll's head bursting it into blue flames.

Its blood-curdling screams echoed through the forest making the others go mad.

They started screaming at the top of their lungs.

I extended my hand towards the kunai which was still embedded into its head.

It pulled itself out and came into my grasp.

The troll's body was stiff and wasn't falling while the others kept screaming.

"Oh shut the fuck up! My ears are going to bleed out at this rate!" I yelled irritably. 

They started screaming even more and banging against the tree. 

I clicked my tongue and looked around.

There was complete darkness all around me.

Now, what the fuck should I do?!
