It surrounded you, something dark and evil.Everything was so loud, you didn't even hear your alarming thoughts, but you felt it in your veins.You felt the horrible fear of this.
There was something in the air... blood.You glanced down to your hands but couldn't see them.You only could feel the warm substance covered your hands.It was disgusting.You rapidly wanted to find anything in the darkness.You screamed for help, but nobody answered.You breathed heavily. You felt a hand on your shoulder, and then another in around your neck.They were burning you when suddenly the scream died in your throat as your eyes widely opened.
The hand was still on your shoulder but it was more gentle, warmer and most of all you know to whom it belongs. It was Ivars hand.”Darling, you're safe, okay? You're with me, remember? You're okay, I' ve got you.Nothing can hurt you.Honey, you're safe." He drawn small circles on to your back. You pressed your forehead into his broad chest and breathed in his scent, smoke and coffee as always.It calmed you down a bit but you were still shaking.”Ivar" you called for him as he stopped his too familiar monologue.He was still stroking your hair though.
"Yes honey I'm here, don't worry, try to relax, I've got you"He pulled you closer, you heard his heart.After some minutes you got off from him, wiped away your almost dried tears.You carefully opened your eyes which met with Ivars.There were tears in his too.
”Ivar" you immediately looked down to the creased sheets.”Oh no, did I hurt you?" asked him while you were sitting up unsteadily, but he pulled you back gently. "No Darling, you didn't"he said firmly as he hugged you.He wrapped around your upper body with his arm.
We both knew I did.
"You never hurt me, try to sleep Honey okay?I'm here with you, nothing can hurt you, you're safe.If you cannot sleep just tell me, we will go downstairs a bit" You hided your face against his chest as he put a small kiss onto your head.Before the you fell asleep again you heard him exhale a short sentence"I love you so much Darling"
