❝Can we please talk?❞

i was frozen in place.

he came up to my house to talk to me. after all that's happened, hes still here.

❝if you're not gonna answer then i'm leaving, snail.❞ 

he said as he had his hand on his hip, somehow slouching while standing.

❝let me get dressed first damn.❞

i mumble as i'm walking to my room, closing it, leaving my door slightly open.

i decide to look into my closet for that sweater to wear, but since its really cold outside i'm going to wear my puffy cream trench coat over it. i put on a cropped Rugrats long sleeve t-shirt and slip on my flared white leggings with some white crew cut nike socks, then walk to my dresser to pull out my Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs and put on a couple chain necklaces and earrings, topping the outfit off with plain gold rings. maybe i'll even wear a ball cap.

❝ok i'm done now!❞ i say as i twirl around, him watching me in awe.

❝ok lets go.❞ i follow him out the door and i see the parking lot building across the walkways to the elevator.

finally, we get into his car, and i ask, ❝where are we going?❞

❝somewhere.❞ he flatly replies, not even looking away from the road.

❝where are we going.❞ i mockingly copy his voice so i can get an actual answer.

❝you'll find out.❞ he retorts with an almost smirk-ish laugh that make me even more curious on what he has planned.

we arrive in the city, looking outside the widow with sparkly eyes as i see lantern lit buildings tower over us. everywhere i look i see restaurants, clothing stores, small shops, even penthouses that stretch almost near the clouds.

we start on the highway intersection and the road lifts up, revealing almost the whole city, seeing all the cars, lights, people, food, and daehwi. his skin is smooth and clear like a glass cup, his nose, his pink, soft, kissable, plump lips, his sharp, defined, slim jaw, his soft, gleaming, youthful eyes. i got so lost in my thoughts of him that i forgot i was staring at him.

❝..after.❞ he questions as his eyes darts from the road back to me constantly for assurance but quickly acknowledges that i've been staring at him in a dopey way. ❝hellooo? anyone there?❞

❝huh?❞ i jump out of my trance and confusingly respond.

❝do you want to go to my place or get something to eat after.❞ he emits as he's going on a normal road again.

❝eat duh. you know i love food!❞ i giggle, putting a small smile on his face as well.

we arrive on this flat piece of mountain, grass as green as emerald, flowers sprouting, and the killer beauty, was the view of the whole city of l.a. i'm blown away boy how beautiful it is.

❝i'm guessing you like it. i'm sorry about the way i reacted. you should be able to have your own private life too, not just with me.❞ he mutters with his head facing downwards. i feel guilty because all of this could've been avoided if i had just told him.

❝its all my fault. if i had just told you-❞ i'm cut off by daehwi putting his hands on my cheeks, softly pulling in my face to kiss me. i close my eyes and kiss back, putting one hand around the nape of his neck, and the other on his cheek. to breathe, we break the kiss and stare at each other's eyes. ❝i'm so sorry. from now on, i'll be careful for you.❞ i say while pressing foreheads with daehwi, his eyes closed, to open again.

❝there's no need for that. as long as i know you're mine, nothing else matters.❞ he empathizes, opening eyes that shimmer like the city lights in front of us. 

❝as long as i know you're mine, nobody else needs to know.❞

you start to flow tears as you guys finally make up and forgive each other. tears start to flow down his face as well, causing you to embrace daehwi in a warm, caring, tight hug.

❝don't ever leave please. i want to be like this forever.❞ you wailed as he plops his face into your shoulder.

❝i will never leave again. let's stay like this forever, my love.❞
