Henry
I walked to my locker to gather my books. It was time to go to Puerto Rican History with Ms. Shapen. Seeing Maebel knelt at her locker, I buzzed my thumbprint and tried to open my locker without hitting her in the head, but she looked up and I whacked her. She fell over while holding her forehead in her hand, and her papers and books went everywhere.
I gasped, "Are you okay?" I bent down and moved her hand to look at her forehead.
She nodded with a smile, "I am always okay,"
I shushed her, "You're not supposed to be," I started to pick up her papers, "Danger Girl is,"
She looked around to see if anyone noticed what she had said, "Right, sorry, I'm still getting used to having to hide my secret around people,"
I placed her stuff in her locker, "It's okay, just, watch yourself next time,"
I offered her a hand, which she took, and I pulled her up with a smile. She stood and smiled back at me, stopping in her tracks to say thanks. Suddenly, it was as if the whole world disappeared and it was only us two. I stared into her blue eyes, taking in every detail about them.
The way tiny gray flecks sprinkled over atop, how the outer ring was dark enough to contrast with the whites of her eyes, and how her eyelashes were gracefully crisscrossed over one another. She had tiny freckles that dotted her nose and cheekbones perfectly against her pale skin. Her skin wasn't flawless, but it was still beautiful. She had a small scar shooting down from her cracked pink lips, how she got it, no clue, but it made me want to know more about her.
Someone cleared their throat behind me, "Henry?"
"Yeah?" I mumbled, keeping my gaze on Maebel.
"Will you do it?"
I furrowed my eyebrows and pulled myself out of my trance. Realizing we were still in school, I quickly retracted my hand and turned to Charlotte, who was speaking to me.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll do it," I thinned my lips.
"So do it," she said.
I chuckled, "Just so we're clear on what 'it' is, what is it?" I asked.
She sighed, "Use your Whiz-Watch to fry the lock on my locker,"
I rolled my eyes, "No, what if someone sees?"
"I'll create a distraction,"
"You know I'm not supposed to-"
Charlotte ran off to the other side of the room, ignoring my protests. She screamed, turning the heads of students. Everyone gathered around Charlotte allowing me to shoot the locker and give her a thumbs up.
"Okay, I'm fine now," She said pushing past the crowd and marched past me, "Thank you."
"Yep," I went back to my locker and made sure to open it slowly this time to avoid another incident with Maebel.

"Henry!" A voice shouted, "Henry, I am gonna kill you!" Piper, Henry's little sister, ran into the hallway.
