One day,
I was out in space.
He pulled me by the hand.
I still dont understand -
We found our way to Earth.
I looked into his eyes
and they were filled with mirth.
Suddenly, I start to think about
His date of birth.The 25th.
The 25th of December.
I wasn't born but I wonder
If He remembers:
The puzzles,
The struggles,
The challenges.
And the different ways in which
He handled it.I look at my brother.
We're quite the distance from each other.
He's so beautiful,
So wonderful,
He looks just like my mother.
With his brown curly hair.
His skin is fair.
I'd like to hug him,
But how do I get there?I look down at my feet.
I start to see
there's shadows pulling me.
And with my next actions
The shadows start to scream:I begin to pray.
I say,
"Please don't leave me
I know you won't forsake me.
I'll turn my life around"
I fall flat onto the threshing ground.I start to speak tongues
That no understanding reaches.
The power increases.I wake up to
Feeling his hand
on my shoulder.
He picks me up
and tells me
That it's all over.He leaves me
With John 3:16.
He tells me
That's the key
Until he calls us all home.
