Opening

In a flash-forward, Dustin is sitting up against a tree with his eyes closed. He's sweaty, appears exhausted, and has blood splattered on his face. He rests his head on the tree and takes a deep breath. In Present Time; 5 days after the battle of Ampton. At the break of dawn, The Wild Ones are preparing for war outside of Tree Base. Several people are putting metal sheets onto vehicles, loading up guns, setting up explosives, and gearing up into their respective uniforms. Dustin steps outside, he walks by everyone as they're preparing for war, and Dustin stands on top of a truck. Everyone stops what they're doing and gives Dustin their full attention.

Dustin- "Before this moment... my father told me to go to war against The Jockeys. I wasn't ready to fight at that time, and for a little while I didn't have the courage to. Well, now here we are. We are standing here today, with our wit and our will to fight the assholes that ruined our town, killed our friends and families, and forever changed our lives. Most of us don't even know each other, and yet we're together, ready to fight side by side in this Wild War. To my understanding there's at least thousands, maybe close to tens of thousands of Jockeys. Those that fight to end us, to keep us from stopping them from reigning more chaos, we will end them! Now, most of us here are between 15 and 24 years old, and most of you have probably never killed before. It doesn't feel good, I promise you. We don't get cocky and celebrate their deaths, and we don't feel shame about it, either. Kyle's the only person who deserves to die in this war. I promise you all, I will kill him myself. I will. Yes, I will. We don't really want to kill them, but if they stand by and protect him, we take them out, too. It just is what it is. We end Kyle Marco, and then... we move on to a better world, together."

Dustin motions for Adam and Abigail to join him on top of the truck. They climb up to the truck.

Adam- "Yes, together. As of today, we are one, now and forever! As we march into this war, the men that sweat and bleed with me, are my blood-brothers! And the women that fight and bleed with me, are my blood-sisters!"

Abigail- "We've practiced for days. We all know what's at stake and we have one objective, to defeat The Jockeys and put an end to their tyranny. After we're finished in Ampton, we take out their Outposts scattered around the Atlantic County. War can be time consuming and we are going to live in uncertainty for days, maybe weeks. But we are going to survive as long as we stick together and keep faith in each other. If we hold on to the courage that we have now throughout this war, victory will be ours."

Hunter howls. Dustin proudly looks at everyone. Back to the flash-forward; Dustin opens his eyes, his eyes are bloodshot, and tears flow down his face. Meanwhile, back in Present Time; Layla is looking out the window. Dustin walks in the room.

Dustin- "Good, you're awake."

Layla- "I want to talk to Abigail and Wilson."

Dustin- "They're in their rooms getting ready, follow me."

Dustin and Layla walk out of the room and are walking through the halls of Red Wolves Unit.

Layla- "Where are we?"

Dustin- "Level 2, Red Wolves Unit."

Layla- "Unit?"

Dustin- "Red Wolves are our medical team and search and rescue."

Layla- "Again, what?"

Dustin- "You missed quite a lot while you were asleep."

Layla- "So, when did you have the time to build this Tree Base?"
