The Jock's CUPCAKE

Chapter 4

After that mini introduction with Jack and Kayla few days ago, the boring life of school caught up to me. Nate comes over to hang out with Kenzie when she's at my house and I honestly don't mind his company.

Although I recently learned that he's Jackson's only trusted friend or bestfriend. But they are so different.

Nate had a few flings here and there but he changed after meeting Kenzie.
I mean, I never saw him sparing another glance towards any other girl,  even when he's not with Kenzie; that counts as loyalty right ???

Anywho, today marks 1 month of my SURVIVAL in this school and I've been avoiding all jocks and cheerleaders. They are the most difficult people to deal with.

Apparently most of them saw my clash with Kayla and they are giving me a hard time because of it, not that I care . But I'd love to have some peace.
Nate has been hanging out with us as usual and the cafeteria near my house has been out TRIO spot.

Ik what you're thinking...... Yes! Nate and Kenzie have being together as in Doing The Dirty but none of them said a thing about being Together.

And I'm still Single and A Virgin,  not that it matters.... but I'd like to experience a relationship, I want to be a girlfriend now....

This explains what I'm doing in this Ice Cream Parlor with Jase !!

"I hate you McKenzie Emma Morgan" I screamed in my mind.

You see, since Nate and Kenzie are almost always together, they felt that I'm third wheeling them and I need a boyfriend.

Well,  they never said they're Official so it doesn't make any sense but those persistent pests made me say YES to this Jase Kesterson and so I'm here with him.

"So...babe what do you say ?? Just you and me and a nice movie at my house, lots of popcorn and we can watch with the- "
Jase was trying to make me go with him to His house .
Keyword- 'trying'

As if I don't know he's interested in the thing between my legs and not the movie.

"Jase , cut the BS ... I told you I'm not gonna sleep with you or anyone. And I'm certainly won't be watching any movie. I got a lot of stuff waiting for me at home. I gotta complete it all."
I tried to get up after I explained him all when he grabbed my wrists tightly and pulled me towards him.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FRICK !!!

"Stop playing hard to get Abby. We all know girls your type-" Jase spoke with venom clear in his voice when I slapped him .

"Shut up you Douchè. How dare you say this and touch me huh?? I don't want to see your face ever again and mind you, I'm not a property that you can own so you better not try anything again . Good Night Kesterson."

I walked out and towards my house looking confident but I was shaking from inside .

I knew Kenz would be at my house so instead of going to my house I went towards the now empty park and sat on a bench.

Tears started running down my cheek when I thought at the probability of what could've happened. Different scenarios started clouding my mind.

He could've hit me or raped me. Or even murdered and then would've thrown away my dead body .

I was shaking with fear when I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I wiped away my tears quickly and turned around.
I saw a man with a black hoodie and his face was covered with a black handkerchief. I somehow found his brown eyes familiar. They had so much concern and warmth and a hint of anger in them. It irked me wanting to know him.

"uh yes ??" My soar throat wasn't helping with my already dead looking face.

"Hey Cupcake, want a cupcake ?" He asked with a deep and warm voice filled with concern and pushed a Unicorn Rainbow Cupcake in my hand.

"Eat it. It makes people happy and we don't want a sad angel, do we?" He said and then went away whistling.

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. This stranger who seemed oddly familiar, made my heart beat so fast and I felt safe.
Then he gave me this Unicorn Cupcake , which is a usually little girl's favorite.
Not to forget the nickname 'Cupcake' .

With so much going on, I ate the cupcake and went home quickly.  WHAT?? 🤨 I was Hungry okay... so I ate that 😒 .. Don't judge me ..

It was a long uneventful day afterall. ^insert another sigh^
