An: hey guys know this probably will get no reads, but in case it does this is just a fun little story idea I had and I wanted to try it out and see if it could turn into anything. Don't judge the grammar of the writing I'm a high school student in all honors and I have sports, this is supposed to be fun and I don't want to stress about something I enjoy. So here is the story about The marauders 7 year at Hogwarts, and then those 12 years after :)
This is a story of the marauders and how they grew up, their years in Hogwarts, and the many years after.
It was the last year for James Fleamont Potter to get Lily Evans to fall in love with him. The number of tries and failures didn't affect him, nothing could stop him from chasing her.
It was the last year for Remus Lupin to be safe in Hogwarts with his friends. The last year where he would have to decide what he will do, and who he will do it with.
It was the last year for Sirius Orion Black to pull off all his famous pranks. But also his last year to finally mature, and maybe find the love of his life.
It was the last year for peter Pettigrew with his friends, for he had no idea what would happen to their group once Hogwarts was in the past.
It was the last year for Lily Evans to avoid Potter as much as possible and continue to deny any affections towards him.
The start of the seventh year, for so many people, but the ending of many was about to come.

"Sirius Black get your amazingly shaped arse out of bed now!" James screeches as he tries to pull Sirius out of bed. It was the first year of the term and both of the boys were running late. Mrs. Potter had come in there minutes before giving James a warning to get out of bed and to try to do the same with Sirius.
"my friend I know my arse is wonderful, but right now it would prefer to stay in bed."
"well, I don't really care what your arse wants. What will happen if we miss the train? Evans will be by herself in the head boy and girl meeting, somebody else could try to flirt with her! And what about worm tail and moony, huh? are we just supposed to leave them on our last first day of school? let them brave the horrors alone? what kind of friends would we be Padfoot? huh?"
"prongs please shut your bloody mouth, I'm up, see" Sirius gets out of bed to shut James up.

Though it took time, eventually both boys were ready to go and we're sitting in the kitchen eating before they would go on their way to the station.
"So Padfoot, when are you going to settle down and find a woman to spend the rest of your life with?"
'i could ask you the same prongs, chasing after lily won't do you anything." he smirked at his friend
"See but that's my point, I know who I want to be with so I chase her, I am fully and utterly in love with her prongs, you however need more than just me moony and worm tail, you can't let the women chase after you, you need to pick one and hunt her down." James pats Sirius's shoulder as he stands up getting ready to apparate to Kings Cross station.
"okay Prongs, but what would happen to our reputation, I'm the single amazingly handsome one in the group, you are the boy chasing after a girl, moony is the brains, and Wormtail- I don't know he's just the eater, every group needs and eater. besides the point though, if I just decide to settle down and look for a woman, then what happens to us, the infamous marauders, we would change, we would be different, what if no one cares about us anymore?!" Sirius smirks slightly as he sees James but his head in his hand, shaking it at Sirius's stupid remark
