Chapter 3

            Ivory kept asking where they where were they going and Chasten wouldn’t say where they were going. Then they pulled up to a trap house. Ivory immediately regretted going with him. “Why are we here. You had me thinking that we were going to like a secret hide out or something not a drug dealership” Ivory said looking at him like he had 2 heads. “For one there is no selling of the drugs. Number 2 this my house I have lived here since I was little. This my only hope around here.” Chasten said sympathetically. “Oh… I’m sorry I didn’t know.”, Ivory tried to make him feel better. “Nah you good but you can’t tell nobody about me or this place. I have never brought anywhere here not even Quinn (his friend from chapter 1)”, Chasten said quickly. “What are we doing here?”, Ivory asked curiously. He got out of the car and walked around to her side and let her out. “What a gentleman you were raised right.” Ivory stated. “Thank you.” He stated as they were walking in the house. When they got inside Ivory was surprised by what she saw, it was all kinds of nice furniture and the carpet was plush it was nothing how she expected it to be. “This is nice.” Ivory stated as they walked into the house. “I tried” “Well, how is it living alone before you are 18.” “ I mean it’s good or whatever. I never get many guests It’s just me and my weed.” He said as he began to roll up. “Have you ever smoked?” “No I have thought about it.” “Well today is your lucky day!” He said as he handed her the smoke. She had put it up to her lips but didn’t know what to do with it. “ Teach me please.” She asked. He guided her through the whole thing and by her third puff she was a pro. “Look at you working it like a pro.” Chasten said very proud of himself. After about 30 minutes they were both lifted and didn’t have a worry in the world, then Ivory looked at her phone and saw that her mom was calling her. “I have to get home.” “Let’s go” Chasten had grabbed his keys and they left. When they got to her house, Ivory just sat there and looked at Chasten. He looked in to her green eyes and she did the same. Then they began to lean in and then it happened. They kissed and not just a normal kiss it was different. They pulled away and look at each other again. She went to get out the car but Chasten stopped her. “I had a nice time with you the little hour and a half we had together. I hope we can we do this again.” “We will. And your secret is safe with me.” “Thank you Ivory. See you at school tomorrow shawty.” She got out of the car and he waited for her to get in the house then he pulled off. When she got in her house she saw the man she never wanted to see again in her life.
