CHAPTER 1
One sunny Friday afternoon Ivory was inside putting away all her things because she just got done moving into her new house. She isn’t too happy about that, but she is doing to learn how to cope with that. She was talking to her mom about the new high school she was about to go to this semester Winchester High. She doesn’t even know if she can deal with that.
As she was walking around greeting new neighbors, She saw a fine young man. She caught herself staring a little too hard because he was looking at her and their eyes met. She started to walk away when he started toward her. He called for her but she kept walking. “Aye Shawty” he exclaimed. She kept going as if she didn’t hear him. He ran up to her and stopped her.
“Let me introduce myself.” He said. “ My name is Chasten and you are…” he paused waiting for her to answer. “Ivory Jones”, Ivory stated slowly. “Pretty name for a pretty girl.” Chasten said while looking into her eyes.
“Chasten you can’t sit over there and flirt with that broad… you don’t even know her” one of his friends said. “ I have to go.” Ivory said, about to go back to her house.
“No! Please stay” Chasten pleaded as she began to walk away. When she got to her house she started to think about Chasten.
“Momma you should have seen him he had the prettiest green Eyes and his complexion went right with mine. He was so.” Ivory began but soon got cut off by he step dad walking in and saying “Girl yess He was so FINE!!!” Cameron exclaimed as he walked through the door. Ivory rolled her eyes because she hated the fact that he just interrupted their conversation. She doesn’t Like Cameron that much because ever since he got with her mom she doesn’t pay that much attention to her so every moment she gets alone with her mom she tries to use it.
