I wrote this a while ago and I don't think it's horrible. Feel free to give me loads of tips pls

Death surrounded her. She could smell it in the air. Nurses ran around in their blood spattered uniforms. She didn't want to die here. She wished to be anywhere else. Sweat covered her skin and the smells of fresh smoke and vomit filled the air. Wet, but no longer cool or relaxing towels lay across her forehead. Hair ticked the back of her neck, bothersome but unable to anything to be done about it. Her breaths came out labored and wheezing. She wished she had enough strength to get up and and go anywhere else before she was claimed from this realm. She wouldn't last much longer, but she merely wished that these were not her last memories of this place. She suddenly panicked as her chest tightened. She didn't have the strength or will to move her head as her eyes darted around, taking in the last moments of life she could. And then she felt it. The winds

A giant grassy field. It's nighttime. The moon is full and showing. There are trees. She can feel the damp grass and dirt between her toes. It was nice here. So quiet. No shouting. No screaming. There was a boy. He was lying in the grass, looking at the stars. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. And there. A little girl wearing her favorite dress lay next to him. So peaceful. Everything was so calm. The wind blew at her back, urging her towards the children that lay in the clearing. Her long blonde hair blew behind her. It was so shiny. Like it had been when she was younger. Before she had gotten sick. The sickness wasn't here anymore, though. No more weight constantly pushing down on her chest, pressing her to stop breathing, to die. She put one foot in front of the other, slowly walking forward. She hadn't noticed how healthy she was. She could walk. She had healthy, walking legs, and she could probably run too. How long had it been since she could run? How many years had it been since she was anywhere, but lying in her bed, feeling death press down on her. She suddenly took a deep breath and sprinted. She ran and ran as fast as she could, letting the wind run through her hair, her breath getting faster, she ran as fats as she could. And then she reached them. Two children staring at the stars. They were a trio again
