Chapter 31

The Gabriel's transformation undid the snake's grip, and Shadow Moth was present. He laughed maniacally, due to he knew thae he had the upper hand and that finally after many months, Gabriel would finally bring Emily back.

The sinister presence of the villain already intimidated Luka before, due to he was dangerous with only one miraculous, and with two the situation only could be worse. For that reason, Viperion did not know what to expect from his new transformation.

However, the snake had to be brave and face him, because without Chat's help, he was the only hope for Paris, and the hero did not intend to continue failing.

Écarlate took advantage of the moment of madness of his adversary and ran in the direction of the blond. Luka was worried, the boy had lost so much blood that he had fainted, he even still had the dagger stuck, but he knew that if he removed it he would be more dangerous since he could bleed out. He had to take him to the hospital, he had to save him before it was too late...

-Don't you dare, I still have a unfinished business with him!-

Luka ignored him, and with the boy in his arms he was preparing to escape from that place. Viperion Écarlate had thrown his yoyo, and he was gaining height with his jump when he felt himself being pulled roughly, falling hard to the ground and with the cat on him.

-He told you that you couldn't leave- said a sweet female voice. Luka's heart raced, he knew that voice very well... he knew it could only be her... he had wanted to be able to hear her again... but it was impossible...

When he turned around, he saw the girl with blue hair and two pigtails. Although she was wearing the ladybug's suit, it was evident that it was her ... the girl who had once owned hid heart.

The snake was shocked, he didn't know what to believe, he refused to believe it. Less than 2 hours ago he had been in the hospital, he had seen her condition and he knew the poor prognosis that the doctors offered in her condition...  but he couldn't deny that the one he had in front of him was the heroine of Paris.

-My lady- the blond pronounced weakly, he had an intense fever.Luka was carrying the cat in his arms again, because he still had the intention of escaping.

The snake was trying to convince himself that everything was a product of his imagination or a manipulation of his enemy. However, the emotion of seeing his best friend awake and healthy prevented him from leaving the place. But despite everything he knew that he had to protect Chat, he was his priority right now.

-You can't leave, it's not over yet!- she yelled louder challenging his opponent, while she was hitting with her yoyo preventing his escape again.

Ladybug hit him hard throwing them, however, Viperion did not seem to have any intention of counterattacking, he felt incapable of hurting the girl.

-My lady- whispered desperate the boy in his arms, as if he would seek his voice trying to escape from his death.

Those words brought him out of shock, because Luka understood that it was impossible for her to be Ladybug.

The pigtails girl launched another attack, more lethal than the previous one, but Viperion held it without hesitation even when he was carrying his friend with one arm. His reflections had never been so accurate, he held tightly that yoyo, his anger was so great that he destroyed that object as if it were a cookie.

-Who do you think you are?- the snake was furious. - the bearer of the miracle of creation is me, I was chosen by Ladybug!!!- he pulled the rope of his broken yo-yo with force throwing his opponent to the ground.

Applause began to be heard, slow and sarcastic. -Who would say that inside of this idiot could exists such strength. However, this won't be enough to face my sentimonster!!- his sinister laugh intensified.
