A PRISTINE admiring tune played as olive sat pleasantly on the hard wood floors of the dance room. she'd been watching lily run around and play multiple vinyls until she'd finally got the right one. reflections by toshifumi hinata began playing and olive began to hum along to it, the girl previously listened to it and of course danced with remus to it.
her brown eyes found their way to the bright green ones that were staring at her with a sense of great beauty and glory. something olive had always loved seeing, she made her way off the ground and stood tall with a hand out inviting the peer to grab a hold of it.
once in grasp, lily and olive began swaying though it was quite sloppy. lily sighed and stopped the movements before going to turn the music off " alright as much as you would ace the swaying part, you need to learn the footwork first "
olive nodded along and watched her feet whilst grabbing onto lily's hand and waist.
" you need to follow me okay, one two three. one two- ow " lily let out as olive stood on her foot. an apologetic look was plastered on the brunettes face as she was frustrated along side.
" this may take a while "

the silence was comfortable as the tired two girls were walking back to their common room. lily was holding her shoes in one hand whilst the other held onto the other and olive hummed aloud.
" i appreciate you doing this for me evans " olive spoke and looked at the girl admiring her.
the redhead smiled and let out an of course, letting the smile linger on her face.
the two had only realised they'd reached the entrance when they heard the fat lady speak for the password which lily had quickly said. when the girls entered, the room was empty.
" everyone must've gone to bed " olive chuckled and fell onto the couch, immediately closing her eyes.
lily sat herself on the opposite couch and sighed " teaching you is such an exhausting thing " olive sarcastically gasped aloud and rested a hand on her chest " i highly object, i am a dear to teach "
the evans girl just laughed and felt a joy when thinking about the way she and olive were today. so close. it was bliss and she knew she shouldn't have felt like this because the olive girl obviously didn't feel the same.
" what you thinking about deary? " olive asked noticing the girl spacing out, lily looked at her and shrugged.
" exams of course " that made olive laugh " that really is all you think about huh "
the girls laughed and continued talking for hours, laughing and joking around. it was really a life time memory.

olive woke up to the feeling of someone shaking her and calling her name, when her eyes opened the familiar royal head of black hair was in her face. her hand reached up and pushed the head out of her face causing a thud.
" that was rude and get up i'm hungry " sirius spoke from the floor.
" what you can't go to breakfast on your own? ask james or something i'm sleeping " olive mumbled and attempted to turn but rolled completely off the couch.
sirius let out a roar of laughter and slapped his knees " see! a sign for you to come have breakfast with me "
olive glared at him and stood up stretching her arms out " just let me go have a shower first " sirius rolled his eyes and walked to his dorm as olive walked to hers.
the dorms were empty as the girl assumed everyone else had gone already. she was quick to hop in the shower and think about everything that had previously happened. her moments with lily evans.
to olive it felt weird that she was thinking about it. a small tingle was felt all over her body but she ignored it and quickly finished her shower, getting dressed into her uniform and she stood fixing her hair in the mirror.
she was contemplating cutting it again as it was starting to grow out and she tossed it around finding the right place for it to sit. she decorated her hands and wrist with jewellery and kept the same silver necklace on the remus gave her.
as she walked out of the dorms, olive looked around the room noticing how dirty it was and how the only spots clean were her side of the room. it made her frustrated that she was with girls who didn't know how to pick up after themselves.
her footsteps echoed around the common room as she walked down the stairs, surprisingly it wasn't empty. marlene was sitting quietly on the couch as if waiting for someone.
" marlene? " olives voice echoed around the room and marlene quickly looked at her " oh yes! your up finally "
marlene quickly got up and attached herself to olives arm, walking with her out of the common room " so... how was it? " olives eyes squinted in confusion " how was what? "
marlene rolled her eyes and lifted her hand to smack olives head " last night with lily you idiot "
olive rubbed her head and groaned " it was good "
the blondes eyes glared furiously at the brunette " just good? are you serious " olive bit her lip " well what do you want me to say? "
" oh come on olive. you know what i'm talking about " olive tilted her head at the girl as they rounded a corner " oh my gosh are you stupid, evans likes you "
the two girls came to a sudden hult as olive nervously laugh in denial " no she doesn't your joking right? "
marlene shook her head " if it wasn't obvious enough already "
olive shook her head as well and began walking again " she doesn't like me marlene so funny. "
the blonde rolled her eyes " mmh just try and see it. everyone else can "
the two entered the great hall and it roared with laughter and conversations, they walked over to their group of friends and marlene walks off to sit with the girls as olive sits with the marauders.
olive sits next to peter and everyone looks at her " so... "
the brunette rolls her eyes and eats " not you guys too " james looks at her in confusion and laughs " sirius said you were passed out in the common room this morning "
sirius laughed and winked at her " yeah i was, i was to tired to walk to the dorms last night "
remus raised his eyebrows at the girl and she just shrugged. her tired and confused demeanour was horrid.
" why were you with mckinnon? " sirius asked and olive smirked " scared i'll steal ur play toy? "
he rolled his eyes and they quickly flicked to remus but he responded in a teasing manner " not if i steal yours first " olive scoffed " i don't have a play toy "
" oh? what about destiny? she's got a fine little body " olives jaw clenched " don't speak about her like that " sirius laughed " a bit protective are we? "
the brunettes eyes rolled " never. "
