Chapter 2- Liar
"Damn fool!" William finally snapped it seemed as he slammed his hands on his desk in a quick fit of rage. He then sighed and took off his glasses, placing them gently on the desk next to him as he rubbed his eyes. Grell was finally pushing his last buttons and deep down he knew that (y/n) knew where the bastard was. "She would never crack even if we pressured her and you know that Mr. Spears." Knox stood against the doorway, watching William have his fit. "I'm aware, so far though she hasn't entirely broken the rules. All the information she's given us has in fact been true. We only have the hunch that she knows where Grell is, but if we tried taking her to court about it we'd have nothing to go off of." Knox shook his head, then turned on his heel heading out of the door. "I'm sure if you asked her nicely she'd tell you, you just have to get over that little crush of yours and speak to her alone."
Pink dusted Williams stone cold face. He placed his glasses back on and pretended to read over paperwork. "I have no idea what you're implying Knox, but that's a false accusation." The blonde reaper laughed, a grin being ever present on his face. "If you don't make a move I will boss! I'm giving you the seniority treatment but if you don't take it theeennnn..." Williams eyebrow twitched, his fingers digging into the paper making small crinkles in the pristine white surface appear. "Get out Knox, your useless banter is wasting my time." The other reaper's boisterous laughter was then heard as he made his way down the hall and away from Williams office. The older reaper sighed, once again placing his hand on his face and rubbing small circles into his throbbing forehead. "No matter what I do or say to her, if she ever found out the truth she would hate everyone's guts, mine more than others."
He stayed silent for a moment, he had finally been piecing the last information together in Grell's case and it wasn't looking good. "She can never find out..." he hated lying to her, he hated it from the moment he was sworn to secrecy. "If only she wasn't such a hazard...if she would've just forgotten like the others." His head began to throb more. The last thing he wanted was for the two of you guys' relationship to fall apart, and even worse for him to lose you.

Today I had the day off, given to me oh so generously by the one and only William T. Spears. Speaking of which he has been a lot nicer to me as of recent. I thought for a moment, my finger pressed against my lips as I ran through my head of reasonings about his sudden attitude change. Normally it's an awkward fest and he gets annoyed with my presence, demanding I get back to work yada yada. Today though, he gave me a random free day with the condition I couldn't leave headquarters in case of an emergency. He also wouldn't keep his eyes off of me, everywhere I go he's somehow there and it was starting to get creepy! I liked William, no way around it, but something fishy is going on here. I began to bite and my nails, has he found out about the Grell situation? I already know I'm a prime suspect of hiding him but there's no way they have proof, I've covered all my tracks.
I didn't even notice the person sneaking up behind me, their mischievous grin growing wider by the second. "HA I GOT YOU!" I felt the person's strong arms wrap around my shoulders, weighing me down. Before I could register my instincts kicked in. I raised my arms behind my back and grabbed the attacker by their neck and flipped them over my body, causing them to crash into the floor in front of me. I then placed my knee into their stomach, preventing them from getting up. "Woah woah (n/n)! Calm down please don't kill me!" Ronald wheezed as he frantically tapped on my thigh, begging to be let up. I stared down at my friend, sighing as I stood up and offered him my hand. "Dear lord Ronald you can't do that! You almost made me die again." Ronald laughed, rubbing his sore bum from hitting the ground. "Where the hell did you learn that move! They only taught us basic hand to hand and how to wield a scythe in training!"
