24 | Confession

Months passed, taehyung was still living with his parents. They had already started saying him to get married but he will escape from it saying he is still young to be married. The truth is he want to but he is afraid to confess to jin. He can't even imagine marrying anyone who isn't jin. Jin was all he had in mind.

The past months, they had gotten more close. Taehyung sometimes used to sleep over at jin's. They now almost share all secret and jimin is a bit jealous of their closeness. Its almost like they are couples now. The only thing is they ain't official. Like they buy couple clothes, couple accessories but they ain't one. Jimin secretly ships them both.

These days its been really difficult for tae. He really wants to pour his heart out to jin. He knows he will get rejected but deep inside somewhere he believed jin would love him back. He was just waiting for the right time to confess. Everyone he got the chance others will be with them. He wanted them both to be alone when he confess. Seems like he needs to wait more.

And after waiting for a long time, he finally got the perfect chance.

Jimin and Namjoon were staying at Namjoon's parents house for a week. Jungkook was out for a business trip and will be back after 2 weeks. It's now him and jin alone. He knows he should take this chance to convey his feelings to jin.

Taehyung was feeling nervous. He planned to confess today evening when to go to jin's place. He was sweating the whole day and couldn't concentrate a bit on work. All he did was sign everything what his assistant gave him.

When it was evening, he quickly called it a day and went to his house. He freshened up and put on some fine clothes. He check himself thrice in the mirror and changed hairstyle about 5 times and finally got ready to go to jin's place.

He reached jin's house. It rather seemed  quiet than how it is usually. Usually, he could hear Ree's voice even if he was outside the house. Today he didn't heard that. She might be sleeping. He rang the door bell and waited for jin to open it. He was fidgeting his fingers from being nervous. His heart beat stopped a second when jin opened the door with a wide smile. "Tae come in" he said and went inside. Tae followed jin.

Taehyung looked around for ree but she wasn't seen. "Where is ree?" He asked jin. "Eomma came to visit this morning. She went with her and most probably will be back tomorrow". "Oh I miss her" "me too".

Jin said and went to the kitchen and taehyung followed him there. "You want tea or juice?". "Um....anything would be fine. Maybe tea?" "Yeah I was also craving for some. I'll take some. Take a seat" taehyung sat on the chair near the table and watched jin making the tea. He felt like giving him a backhug but he hold back himself from doing so.

After drinking the tea, they both sat on the couch and decided to watch a movie. "But what will we watch...I think we almost watched everything by now" jin said looking through the Playlist. "Umm jin..I have something to say to you" taehyung somehow managed to say without stuttering. "Whats it tae?" Jin kept the remote aside and leaned into the couch.

"Well...please promise me that this won't affect our friendship...I can understand you may not accept what I'm gonna say but please let us be same like this if that happe-" jin cut off taehyung. "Calm down tae. I'm not cutting our friendship no matter what ok..now tell"

"Its that....I love you jin. I truly love you. I've fallen for you the day I saw you. You may not know but I've seen you before that day of your accident and what can I say...it was love at first sight for me...I feel like you was who I was searching for the whole life. I felt a deep connection with you. You're my everything jin. Every moment with you feels like heaven. I can't even imagine loving another person who isn't you jin....I'm deeply in love with you...

I know you may reject me now because I'm the brother of V. But please I truly love you and give me a chance to prove my love for you...please give me a chance.... I know you're still not over the death of V...it's ok, take your time. Just remember that I'm always here waiting for you" taehyung poured his heart out.

Jin was silent. He didn't know what to say. He likes taehyung, but was that love?. He isn't like V but still he is a good guy who only knows to love others. Anyone would want him as their partner. But jin wasn't sure if he was ready for another relationship after the death of his husband. Is he ready to let V go? There wasn't any doubt for him if tae will love his daughter cause they are already very close to each other now... but still he have doubts.. he wants to get jimin's advice and most importantly, he wants to see V....and he needs to be sure that he loves taehyung before saying 'yes' to him.

"Taehyung...I want some time....please give me sometime to think" jin replied honestly.

"Its ok...you should take your time...I'm not forcing you to say anything now...just know that I'm always here waiting for you..I love you"
