"You want to know who your father is?" Gemini asked.
It had been two days since Tiffany and Gemini had revealed to Embry that Gemini was his grandmother and that Tiffany had always known about him being a shapeshifter.
Gemini and Tiffany had taught Embry how to hide his thoughts from the pack and Edward. He couldn't believe he really had the ability to block his thoughts. Apparently, Tiffany and him had inherited it from Gemini.
Embry was still in shock, he felt like everything was starting to make sense in his life. The way his mother went about things, how she was so good at keeping secrets, and how no one really knew anything about her.
It made sense to him now.
But one thing was still bothering Embry. Why does his mother refuse to tell him who his father is?
Embry called Gemini over to spend time with her. He wanted to get to know his grandmother but also see if she would tell him who his father is.
Gemini shrugged and waited for Embry to actually answer her.
They sat there for a couple of minutes staring at the television screen in front of them.
Embry nodded.
"Gem...grandma, do you know who my father is?" Embry asked.
Gemini nodded.
She did know.
"Will mom be upset if you told me?" Embry asked.
Gemini rolled her eyes.
"No." Gemini answered.
Tiffany would be so upset but she would get over it. Gemini knew Tiffany could never stay mad at her. Plus Embry deserved to know the truth about his father and his family's history.
"What's his name?" Embry asked.
Gemini cleared her throat and licked her lips.
"Lucas Uley." Gemini answered.
"Uley?!" Embry exclaimed.
"Lucas...L.U.C.A.S uley. He's sue's brother. Leah and Seth's uncle. Your father." Gemini said. "As a member of the black and uley families, Lucas passed his genes down to you, his only child." She added.
"I'm an only child." Embry said.
"Your father lives in Miami." Gemini said.
"Did he know about me?" Embry asked.
"No, your useless grandfather chased him away when he found out about Lucas and your mother." Gemini replied.
