twenty nine

after a variety of different excuses and constant begging, jisung just couldn't seem to get out of it this time. he had to see minho, there was no two ways about it. 

the eight of them were all currently sat in the living room of the eldest, changbin clinging suspiciously to his side while everyone else sat around them. 

after what his friend had talked to him about, jisung made sure he was paying extra attention to the fox like boy. jeongin was the only one in their friend group (even after the recent new additions) that strongly disliked physical affection or genuine compliments, something about them being cringy and uncomfortable. 

however, the way he had his arm causally slung around seungmin's shoulder said that the latter was a clear exception and it made jisung smile. it was obvious to the group that seungmin had a crush to everyone but jeongin himself and vis versa, irritating really. 

"can we order the pizza now?" felix whined, falling dramatically in hyunjin's lap. "i'm starving!"

"baby, i'm supposed to be the dramatic one in this relationship." the elder sighed and shook his head, stroking felix's slightly fried hair while a fond smile played on his lips. 

"get a room!" jisung giggled, throwing a stray piece of popcorn which had long since gone stale in their general direction, hitting felix's chest and falling on the carpet. 

the blond could see minho physically squirming in his seat, feeling incredibly uncomfortable with his presence in the room. 

jisung flinched as the popcorn hit him on the head, too deep in thought about his sugar daddy to notice. he was about to throw it back again when chan spoke, walking over to him with an open hand. 

"popcorn?" jisung huffed and put the lone piece of food in his palm, "thank you. i'll order it now, is everyone okay with the general topping mix?" 

the room filled with affirmations of all kinds, humming, nodding and even a stray thumbs up. 

jisung couldn't help but fall into thought again as he glanced over at minho once again, if he was being honest; jisung missed him, more than he'd care to admit.

a jolt of fear ran through his body when the elder returned his gaze, catching him staring with longing in his eyes. he responded with a light smile, clearly unsure of what response jisung wanted. 

the sight made his heart melt. call him weak but in that instance he would've given anything to waddle over and place himself in minho's arms, forgiving everything that had happened and placing kisses all over his face. 

he would've, if he wasn't terrified. 

the group clearly noticed the awkward tension between them, sharing looks with one another about whether they needed to be pulled apart or left alone. 

it was jeongin who spoke first, removing his arm and standing up from the sofa, "if you two don't suspiciously need the toilet at the same time but end up in chan's bedroom and having a heart to heart i will literally pass away."

his comment made the other's chuckle, everyone except the two boys who looked like a pair of deers caught in headlights. 

"fine," minho nodded cautiously, awaiting any signs of protest from jisung before continuing. "but i'm not going anywhere near chan's bedroom, i'm never turning up here uninvited ever again oh my god." 

changbin coughed awkwardly, his ears and cheeks going a bright shade of red while chan only sighed. "if you admit to any more times min, i'm gonna start thinking it's not accidental and you're secretly into voyeurism or some shit." 

minho visible shuddered, "absolutely not, just please start locking your doors i beg."

jisung coughed this time, his cheeks showing a hint of pink at the conversation topic. it made it worse that he was the only one (excluding minho) that knew the cause was his best friend, an image he dubbed bleach worthy. 

"come on then you big baby, we'll be in the guest bedroom." he gently took hold of jisung's wrist and the younger stood up from his seat. 

"if we're dealing with your logic here min, you should probably avoid that room too." 

"oh for fucks sake."
