In the forest, Mikasa tries her best to keep up. As she's hopping along, she falls into a patch of deep snow. Kenny rolls his eyes, goes back, and picks her up. Kenny then continues with Mikasa in his mouth. 2 years later, Mikasa looks a little more grown. She is now 10 years old. As they move along, Kenny spots a rabbit. He growls, and Mikasa imitates. Kenny continues growling, but Mikasa playfully chases after the rabbit. The rabbit runs and hops onto some frozen water. Mikasa tries to follow but slips and falls on the ice. Several skins are stretched out on racks outside. Another 2 years later, Mikasa has grown even bigger. She is now 12 years old. She starts sniffing the snow. She then goes off in one direction while Kenny looks at her funny and heads off in another direction. Mikasa then reaches a bush and howls. A flock of birds fly out. Erwin raises his gun and shoots, hitting one. Erwin then walks over to Mikasa and pets her. Kenny looks really sore. 4 years later, Mikasa is now 16 years old. Erwin is tying down a pile of skins to his car. Kenny walks over to the car's front seat and is surprised to see Mikasa sitting there. At dawn when Erwin is driving, The snow already appears to be melting.
