Nightmares. Every night was the same. That damned carnival! And that clown! That fucking clown! Why was this happening to you?! You'd tried everything. Throwing it away. Burning it. Taking it to the lake and throwing it in. Nothing. It came back. On your bed. The night stand. In your backpack. It was everywhere. You saw that clown everywhere.
You were losing your mind.
You were sitting on your bed listening to the rain hit your window. There was a new sound. A sound you were all to use to. Pop goes the weasel. You looked around your heart racing as you breath got shaky. Where was he. You weren't dreaming so he shouldn't be here. Where did you put that box? You couldn't remember! Standing you began to run around your room trying to find it. Throwing things every where. Where the hell was that dammed box!? You paused. Looking at where you heard it loudest you froze.
It was under your bed.
Talking over you got on your hands and knees peeking under your bed. There it was. Playing in its own. You hesitantly grabbed the box and dragged it out from under your bed. Placing it in front of you you jumped letting it go as it opened. There was no doll. Where did the doll go? Where was the clown?! You stood up looking around. Where was-
You felt someone staring at you from behind. Slowly turning around there....was nothing there. Calm down you were just paranoid. Sighing you helped feeling something grab you and yank you into the bed. You tried to sit up but something pinned you down. You couldn't see it. You were being pinned down by air. Suddenly your wrists were tied to the bed frame with some kind of rope. Where did it come from you didn't own any rope neither did your mom!? How did it even do that?! Suddenly the nothing in front of you became this weird black smoke. Then he was there. The clown was straddling your hips grinning down at you. You began to struggle. He was real. No that wasn't possible! He's just a doll! You eventually gave up your wrists red. You couldn't break the rope. You couldn't get free. You were trapped.
You turned your head away as he held some of your (color) hair between his clawed fingers. What did he want. Why was he doing this. Why you. You watched from the corner of your eye as he just grinned. "Did you like the magic trick?" He asked. What...the rope?
"No. I don't like being tied up." You snapped softly not wanting to make him mad. You'd probably die if you did.
"Well I do." He said with a laugh. God that laugh. This.....insane....laugh. It sent shivers down your spine.
"Why are you doing this? Why me?"
"Because you own my box silly." He said with a giggle as he gave your hair a good tug before letting it go and slamming his hands down on either side of your head.
"I have to say though you e lasted a lot longer then the others. You haven't given in yet." He said tilting his head.
"I'll just have to fix that....do you like candy?" He asked.
You didn't answer. You didn't want to. If you said yes what would happen? Then again if you said no what would happen? What if you didn't answer at all? You saw him grow angry as you didn't answer him.
"Don't ignore me!" He growled hands suddenly around your neck choking you.
You could barely breath. Why was he so mad about being ignored? You didn't understand. You didn't understand anything anymore. He grew angrier and angrier in your silence. But you couldn't talk even if you wanted to. Everything was getting fuzzy. Last thing you saw was his grin. Then blacked out.
