My alarm clock blared on top of my side table and I groaned in annoyance. It was now Monday and I had to get ready for school. Honestly, what smartass thought it would be a good idea to throw a party on a Sunday? My head was hurting from the copious amounts of alcohol I used to drown out my frustration and embarrassment.

Oh, why did I feel the need to drown myself in alcohol, you ask? Well you see, last night's party was a bust. For me at least. While we were playing spin the bottle, fucking Evander walked out on me! After my turn had passed, two more people went and it was finally Evander's turn. The son-of-a bitch spun the bottle and it landed on me. He then had the audacity to walk out of the room without a word!

I was so embarrassed that I took the bottle of Hennessy that sat in the middle of the circle and downed whatever was left, which was about a little less than half- that's saying a lot since the bottle was about 1 liter of straight dark liquor. I then realized how bad of an idea that was when I proceeded to run out of the room a couple minutes later only to spew the contents of my stomach into a toilet bowl. Fast-forward a couple hours later, after practically having to be dragged out of the party and into the comfort of my own home, I am currently in my bed ,staring up at the ceiling and contemplating jumping off a skyscraper while I felt like World War 3 was popping off in my skull.

I begrudgingly rolled off of my bed and trudged to the bathroom where I took some painkillers and a hot relaxing shower.

I quickly got dressed and combed my hair out, letting it flow down my shoulders so that i can avoid worsening my headache. I left my room and found my mom sitting at the kitchen counter with my dad.

"Good morning," I mumbled as I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Hey buddy, had fun last night?" dad asked, a hint of amusement present in his voice.

I looked at him scowled, taking a sip of my water. "Finding joy in my pain, I see."

The couple laughed and I shook my head, holding back a smile.

"Well I'll be off now. Love ya!" I said as I stole a slice of toast from my mom's plate before making a mad dash out the door while laughing like a maniac.

Once I made it out the house, I popped in my earbuds and started the trek to school while the cool morning breeze lightly blew against my face, calming my raging headache.

About 30 minutes later, I reached the school gates. CJ, Lea, and Liam were on the stairs that led up to the main entrance of the building. They waved me down and I made my way to the trio.

"Hey guys," I said waving. I took my earbuds out and was met with immediate regret when voices began overlapping inside my head. I took a few deep breaths as the voices started to fade to whispers, but still there nonetheless. This was a sign that it was going to be a very long day.

"Hi, my love," CJ greeted.

"How do you feel," Lea asked in amusement though there was a slight bit of worry to her tone.

"Aside from a killer headache and the urge to bury myself in a 10 feet hole, I'm fine." My friends laughed at what they thought was a joke, though I was being deathly serious.

Not too long after, the bell rang and it was time to go to class.

CJ and I parted ways with the twins and went to our first period class where we sat in our respective seats. Soon the tardy bell was ringing and I noticed Evander was late.

It was 20 minutes into the class period while the teacher was going over some notes, when the door swung open and Evander stood on the other side looking pretty pissed off.
