chapter two

[23rd of February]

I woke up to my annoying phone alarm. It was 9:30am and I was so tired but I remembered that I need to talk to Jake. I got up and went down stairs. "Good morning Nadia" Clay said.
"Good morning" I said back to him. "Someone's not in a good mood" he mumbled.
"Oh shut up" I said. "I made you waffles for breakfast" he said. "Thanks" I replied. I went over to the cupboard and got out a cup, I made my self coffee and poured it into the blender then I got some ice and out that in the blender, i turned on the blender, and I got really loud, after about a minute I poured myself some of the coffee. "Clay" I shouted. "What" I heard him shout back. "Do you want iced coffee?" I asked. "Sure" he shouted back. I poured him some coffee and went upstairs into him room to give it to him. "Thanks" he replied. "I'm going to jakes if that's okay" you said. "Sure just come back before 3pm" Clay said. "Okay i replied.

I went back into the kitchen and ate my waffle while scrolling through instagram and drinking my coffee. After that I went back upstairs into my bathroom and took a shower. Then I went to my room and sat at my vanity. I took out my hair dryer and straightener. I brushed through my hair and then I dried it, then I quickly straightened it. I changed into my outfit. Which looked like this:

Then I done my makeup, and headed out. On my way to the door I went to Clays room and told him that I'm leaving.

I took me about 10 minutes to get there. I knocked on the door. He opened it, i hugged him to say hi, he hugged me back, but it wasn't a normal hug. It was an awkward one, I knew something was up. We went up to his room and i sat on him bed. He sat beside me.

"I need to tell you something" Jake said. "Yeah, tell me please I know there's something wrong" i said. "So I've been thinking about us and I don't feel the same towards you anymore I don't think I love you." He said. I felt a tear go down my face "so you're braking up with me?" I asked. "Yes I am, I'm sorry Nadia" he said. I quickly got up and left his room he got up and went after me I went out the front door and headed back home crying. I didn't want Clay to see me walk in crying, because I knew he would ask and he didn't really like Jake in the first place.

I walked in the door. Clay heard it close. He went downstairs, "oh it's you, why did you comeback so earl-" he didn't get to finish. He ran up to me. "What happened" he asked. Seeing tears run down my face. "Nothing" i replied. "Nadia you need to tell me right now" he said. "I don't need to tell you anything you're not my mother" I said angrily. "You live with me, I'm not you're mother but I'm your guardian you need to tell me" he said calmly.
"Clay, I'm sorry I didn't want to be mean, I just kinda said it without thinking, Jake broke up with me, he said that he doesn't love  me anymore and I just left, I'm sorry" Clay pulled you in to a hug. "Nadia don't be sorry, he's an asshole he didn't deserve you" Clay said.

You didn't say anything, after a while you pulled out of the hug and headed up stairs. You went to your room and took down all of Jakes photos of your wall. You threw them all out. You later in bed and cried for the rest of the day. Clay walked  up stairs. He knocked on your door. "Come in" you said. "Are you okay Nadia?" He asked. "Does it look like I am?" You said. "I brought you something" He said while putting your favourite Starbucks drink, chick fill A and some other snacks on your bed. "Thank you Clay" you said while giving him a hug. "You haven't ate anything other than breakfast today and it's already 9pm so I got a bit worried,also I'm not streaming today so what do you want to do" He said. " I don't mind" you said. "Wanna watch a movie" Clay said happily. "Sure, but i pick" you said. "Okayy what do you want to watch?" He asked. "Hmmm what about Five feet apart" you suggested. "Sure I haven't seen it yet" he replied.

Both of you went down stairs you brought down your Starbucks, Chick Fill A and all the other snacks, while  Clay went to the kitchen to make popcorn. You waited for him on the couch. He came and you tired on the movie, throughout the movie you fell asleep.
