I woke up to the sound of the door bell ringing and muffled talking. I looked around and remembered I was in Nick's house and sat up. I pulled my hair into a messy top knot bun and walked out into the living room.
"Hey" Nick said once he saw me
"Hi" I said
"Kaelyn" Kevin said "how are you?"
"I'm fine, how are you?" I asked still groggy
"I'm great" Kevin said smiling at his wife, Danielle and daughter Alena.
"Hey, Kae" Joe said hugging me
"Hi, Joe" I said back
"Kaelyn, I haven't seen you in forever" Frankie said hugging me as well.
"You too Frankie" I said awkwardly, Frankie is a year younger than me and had made it very obvious over the years that he had a crush on me.
"I think Alena needs a diaper change, we'll be right back" Danielle said walking into the bathroom
"I heard you were in the hospital for a few days" Joe said "is everything alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said
"She just has a few cuts and bruises" Nick said placing a hand in my shoulder.
"I heard you were in a coma and everyone thought you were dead for like a week" Frankie said over dramatically "and then that video got released of your boyfriend telling you to kill your self"
"The press likes to be way to over dramatic" I said not really knowing what to say.
"Well I'm going to pick up a pizza" Nick announced "do you guys want to come"
Nick and the guys left to go get pizza leaving Danielle, Alena and I alone.
"She so cute" I said while Alena was crawling around on the floor.
"She is a cutie, isn't she" Danielle said looking at her daughter
"I took a child development class last year where we help run a day care center" I said "and there was this baby and it was so cute but I swear to god it was like a spawn of satan it was so ill behaved"
"Alena isn't too bad" Danielle joked "she's surprisingly a good girl"
"That's good" I said just as I got a text from Nash, I typed a quick reply and put my phone down.
"I heard what happened about Nash" Danielle said breaking the silence
"I'm pretty sure everyone has by now" I said laughing a little
"I just wanted to say that if you ever need anyone to talk to I'm here" Danielle said " some times it's nice talking to a girl and I know your mostly around guys now a days"
"Thank you" I said "I'm just unbelievably stressed out about the whole situation"
"What's stressing you out?" She asked
"Nash is getting a ton of negative attention from it, and everyone's mad that I'm back together with him" I said "but they don't understand all that we've been through and overcome, I don't want to give up"
"I understand" Danielle said as she picked Alena up "or at least I think I do"
"We're back" Nick yelled from the front door. I got a slice of pizza and sat down at the table with everyone.
"So, Kaelyn" Kevin said "I heard your recording a new song with Nick"
"Yeah, I am" I said right as Nick placed two pills infront of me with a glass of water.
"The bottle says your supposed to take two every 12 hours" Nick said
"What is it?" I asked
"Pain killers" Nick said before I swallowed the pills.
"How long are you in New York for?" Joe asked
"A few weeks" I said
"We're heading back to LA tomorrow" Kevin said "we should take a picture all together"
"Sure" I said standing up, we took a few pictures all together, one of which I posted on Instagram.
"Nash is calling you" Nick said handing me my phone.
"Your still with that jerk?" Frankie asked
"He's not a jerk" I said as I declined the call.
"It was great seeing you again Kaelyn" Kevin said before everyone said there goodbyes and I walked back to my room to call Nash back.
