'I like that name! It suits you' I reply
'Thank you! And what's your name?' Adam questions
'my name is y/n'
' that's a very pretty name y/n' Adam swiftly responded
This boy is so sweet! What even made him come and check up on me? I can't even believe this! I hope this isn't a dare, after everything today I'm praying This isn't a dare. He has the most perfect eyes, smile, accent, hair, everything! Adam and I kept talking for a while until we noticed his food being served at his table. He signalled for one of his siblings to bring his food over for him and soon enough one of them did. He looked a lot younger than Adam.
'Hi, there' his brother said while dropping off the food.
'Hey!' I responded with a smile. His brother winked at Adam before returning to the families table
'Sorry about that' Adam said, I briefly giggled and looked over at the family
'you have a lot of siblings, Adam! Do you all get on?'I questioned
' yeah! We do, we're a band!' Adam said proudly
'Oh wow! Tell me more!' I replied curiously
Adam and I spoke for ages about his life, siblings, band, everything! I didn't want this 'date' to end. Adam soon finished his food and offered me to stay and have a dessert with him. I gladly took his offer, especially because it meant I could spend more time with him.
We spoke about why I had moved to the USA and what my hometown in the UK was like. Adam kept asking me to pronounce certain words just so he can hear my 'funny' accent in full force.
Soon enough we had both finished our desserts and this little 'date' would have to come to an end. We called the waiter over and Adam paid for my lunch and our desserts.
'Well, I guess this is it! Thank you so much for checking up on me Adam, it does mean a lot I said while blushing intensely
'It's no problem! Here have this' he said while passing over a note
I looked at it and on it was his phone number, I looked up at him and hugged him tightly. He hugged back gently and giggled
'Well I best be off, it's been amazing to meet you y/n! Text me!!' Adam said before meeting his family outside.
I took my time packing up my stuff and hopping into my car.  Before starting the car I put Adams number into my phone and sent him a quick text
Hey Adam! It's y/n💕
                                           Hey y/n I hope you enjoyed our little 'date' 💓
Omg, he thought It was a date too!! I thought before starting the car and heading back to my apartment
