Its been over three years since we moved to Konoha. I barely see my mother, but when I do she always makes sure that I am her only priority. Aoi and I had also become Gennin, my new sensei was Yumi. I'm pretty sure my mother had something to do with that. "I'm so so sorry sweetheart. I thought that your teammates would be excited to be on the same team as the Next God of Shinobi, but I was wrong." Yumi said, "But who's taking my place?" I asked, "Yuri." she said, "Oh, she's probably a better fit for them anyway." I said sadly. "Honey come here." she said, "No, no. I-I wanna be alone for a while." I said as I walked away.
I decided to go to the park to be alone. I sat down on a bench and tried my best not to cry.
Asuma POV
I was walking through the park on my way to see Kurenai when I saw a kid all alone. He was clearly upset. I went to a nearby ice cream vendor, "Two please." I said as I paid her for the ice cream.
"Here." I said as I handed the boy an ice cream, "My mommy told me never to take things from strangers." (y/n) said, "Well (y/n) I'm the exception. I work with your mother, I am Asuma Sarutobi." I said, "Oh I'm sorry Sarutobi Sensei." he said, "Why don't you tell me what's wrong?" I said, "I just got kicked off my team. My teammates didn't like having the "Next God of Shinobi" on their team. I don't blame them either." he said, "I'm so sorry. That can't be easy." I said as I took a bite of my ice cream. "Why don't you come with me. I'd like to teach you something." I said, "Ok." he said.
I took (y/n) to my house, "This is Shogi, it's a strategy game. But it also helps to clear the mind." I said, "I don't know how to play." (y/n) said, "That's alright I'll teach you." I said.
Guren POV
"MOMMY!" Kiyo said as she ran over to me, "Look, Mommy!" she said as she held up a crystal lotus, "I can finally make more than the white crystals." she said happily, "I'm so so proud honey." I said as I took the crystal flower, "It's beautiful." I said as I changed it into a hairpin, "Now you have a pretty hairpin to remember your first perfect creation." I said, "Mommy will you come watch me practice? My old mommy watched me train once and she said I was a disappointment." she said softly, "Honey of course I'll watch you. And you are not a disappointment." I said as I kissed her cheek.
In the three years, Kiyo has been living with me her Kekkei Genkai had only just emerged last year in the winter. She has been working very very hard to master it, I got her a new outfit so that she didn't have to wear the same old outfit her fake mother gave her. But the most surprising thing about my daughter occurred a few hours after she learned the truth, she reverted to a near infantile state. She stopped talking and would cry if I left her alone for too long. I didn't mind the change, in fact, I wholeheartedly embraced it, it allowed me to reconnect with my baby. "Crystal Style. Hexagonal Shuriken: Liquid Dance!" Kiyo said as she used her Jutsu.

I thought, suddenly one of the prisoners escaped and tried to attack her, "KIYO!" I shouted, suddenly she forced the crystal liquid down the prisoner's throat causing him to stop dead in his tracks, "Kiyo!" I said as I ran to my daughter, "Crystal style. Liquid Dance, Second Act. Pillars of Fate." she said causing the crystal liquid in the prisoner to solidify and violently erupt from his body killing him instantly, "Kiyo." I said as I held her close, "My sweet baby." I said, "Mommy did I do good?" Kiyo asked, "Yes sweetie, you did very good." I said, "How about we go out for dinner tonight. We can have Ramin and you can have anything you want in yours." I said, "Really?! Thank you Mommy!" she said happily as she hugged me.
Yumi POV
"Thank you, Asuma. Being rejected by his team couldn't have been easy, but look at him now. sound asleep, not a care in the world. It's thanks to you." I said, "It was my pleasure. I would like to see him again, his team might not see his potential, but I do." Asuma said.
A/N: two chapters ago I challenged you to try and guess the Jutsu (y/n) used on Yumi. Most of you thought he used Almighty Push, and you were close. The Jutsu he used were Tsukiomi and Bansho Ten'in or Universal Pull.
