Part 7

"But were children?" Rewind said to Ms. Moreno who was handing lemonade to Missy and medicine to Serena. "Yes, the children of the Heroics...If anyone is gonna save the world, it's you, because all of you have superpowers" She said to the children.

"Super lame powers," Facemaker said 

"Speak for yourself" Wildcard laughed with Serena on his lap smacking him

"Okay, Johnny Random," Rewind said 

"This is no way to be a super team," Ms. Moreno said 

"Abuelita's right. Aliens are about to invade, and if we want to rescue our parents and save the planet, we're gonna need to do it now" Missy said standing up "Um, In case you have forgotten My girlfriend is sitting on my lap because she almost passed out" Wildcard interrupted "I'm going to be okay thanks to the medicine Ms. Moreno gave me. I'm glad she kept it" Serena said "So you're saying that... we can be superheroes?" A Capella asked Missy. "Well, yeah. I guess that kinda is what I'm saying" Missy said sitting down "We can be heroes just for one day" A Capella sang making everyone groan. "Sorry, it was there for the taking," She said "I need you all to maximize your powers," Ms. Moreno said "Grandma, I've been trying to do that my whole life, so if you have any ideas, I'm all ears," Wildcard said as Facemaker made his ears big to make it look like Wildcard had big ears. Everyone laughed including Serena who was feeling better "Um, it's not about who is the strongest or fastest. It's about working together, and that's why we'll need someone to be the leader" Ms. Moreno told the kids "That would be me" Wildcard said raising his hand "I was actually talking about Missy and Serena, but thank you" Ms. Moreno said.

"Follow me!" She said making all the kids stand up"You sure you're okay?" Wildcard asked Serena as she stood up "Yeah" Serena replied walking out with the kids. 

"But I'm the leader!" Wild Card said 

"He's right, I'm totally okay with that" Missy said to her grandma

"Well, I'm not. And we don't have time to argue. So, what I say goes" Ms. Moreno said 

"Yes, ma'am" Wild Card said 

"Welcome to my training ground," Ms. Moreno said as her normal lawn turned into a cool training area. Serena and Wild Card smirked "Let's boogie," Ms. Moreno said.

"Let me know if you feel like your going to pass out," Wild Card told Serena while the other kids started training "I will," Serena said walking to Ms. Moreno. "Alright Serena try to use your powers," Ms. Moreno said "Okay" Serena replied nervously as she tried to use her powers to beat a training robot. "Great job Serena," Ms. Moreno told Serena "Thank you, I'm going to go rest I feel a bit light-headed" Serena responded walking away trying to find a spot to rest. "Oh wait I should let Wild Card know"  Serena whispered as she went to look for him "Hey Wild Card I--" Serena began as she saw him but as soon as he saw her Wild Card walked away towards Missy leaving Serena who was clearly feeling sick. Serena sighed and walked behind a rock resting and taking out her medicine "Hey you okay" A Capella said as she noticed Serena looked a bit sick and followed her "Yeah just feeling light-headed" Serena said. A Capella sat down.

"Serena, your lying," A Capella said 

"Fine, it's about Wild Card" Serena replied 

"What did he do?" A Capella asked

"I'm probably just overreacting but Wild Card told me to let him know if I felt light-headed. When I tried to tell him he just looked at me and walked over to Missy" Serena told her

"So he ignored you when you clearly felt sick. I mean if I could tell then there is no way he didn't notice" A Capella said 

The girls heard a noise and looked over the rock to see everyone on the floor but a second later they noticed Wild Card and Missy holding hands. Serena's heart broke seeing her boyfriend holding hands with another girl but the fact he didn't notice Serena was not there angered A Capella. 

"I'm sorry Serena," She said as Serena had tears in her eyes 

"It's not your fault," Serena said before she cried quietly 

"He's a jerk that doesn't deserve you," A Capella said hugging Serena 

They stayed quiet until they heard Wild Card "A Capella where are you!" he yelled "Go I'll catch up" Serena said. "Are you sure?" A Capella asked Serena nodded and A Capella left "It doesn't make sense" Serena said before she heard something coming from a huge tunnel next to her. She jumped up and got ready to fight until she saw Wild Card and Missy along with the other kids coming Serena walked back to where she was and waited with hope that Wild Card would notice her. But instead, he went with Missy and she started whispering in his ear "Holy...doo doo" Wild Card said looking at Guppy and Ojo. Serena rolled her eyes "I mean, yes, very interesting" Wild Card said "uh-huh Okay, that makes sense. Yep...Okay. Wow, that's really smart" He continued but before Wild Card could face the kids Missy kissed him. "Traitor" Serena mumbled she didn't even seem surprised anymore.
